My husband and I are trying to go see the ruins in Belize and then onto the Zoo. Shoretrips only needs TWO more people to book in order to confirm the trip. The Zoo is supposed to be AWESOME- I've seen pics- very quaint, and well done. Healthy, happy mostly local animals. My husband and I are fun. So good times will be had by all. Interested? Just book away with Shoretrips and I'll buy you and your co-tripper drinks! How's that for a bargain??!! Those of you bummed by not seeing the ruins in Progreso- this trip is for you!

Unfortunatly I signed up for the Altun Ha ruins and the city tour and not the zoo . I guess that does not help you much huh?

My recomendation for Belize is actualy the zipline and cave tubing.

Free Drinks?????? If I did'nt already sign up for the cave tubing you'd be in dire trouble....

Yah, cave tubing and zip line look great- but I work at a zoo and I've heard so many great things about this one I've just got to go check it out for myself...

I know that I have already talked to Z about this, but I am just nervous about the "hike" for the cave tubing. I was involved in an extremely bad head on collision with a drunk driver-which I am lucky to be alive. I have chronic pain nerve pain called RSD in my legs. So I will be doing good to go on the hike as long as some people volunteer to help me and I know I won't be able to carry my inner tube, unless y'all wanna watch me go rolling back down with it. Which could be fun in different circumstances. I know my limits and I don't want over do it, because then the rest of the cruise I will be paying for it. And at least I have the good drugs that will help me some, but not a lot. So please help!!!!!!

Hey is any one going on the scuba learning dive in Roatan? It looks great. I did it once back in the Bahamas and had a blast.

The scuba learning dive in Roatan does look interesting. I will probably do that one, but wanted to see what Carnival was going to offer before I booked it.

Just signed up and printed voucher for cave tubing/zip-line. damn this is gonna be cool! i wonder if there's a minimum for the dolphin swim. haven't received confirmation yet. ah well if it doesn't work out we'll prob just switch to the ruins in cozumel =)

Hey Fri.... that's awesome you had shoretrips add this. I wanted to do the scuba thing at one of the ports but everything listed said you needed certified. Elric, my boyfriend and I are not certified. I haven't scuba dived in almost 12 years. It looks very nice. Hope to see you guys there.

Just a question:

Why is my Tuluum shoretrip STILL not validated? Am I assed out? Are not 25 people registered yet?

We are doin the Beach break in Cozumel if anyone else is interested.... Food and alcohol included!

Some of the shore trips scare me because they appear to start at 7:30am.

hm that brings up another fun question/point - most of our onboard events go no later than 1 AM? so what's up for the late nite insomniac action? how late do they serve alcohol, etc? hehe

I'm wondering the same thing! I'm not really used to things happening so early in the day (VNV at 7pm?!? Wow!) I suppose for the few days at sea we might be able to adjust, but to be honest, my "days" usually don't even get started until then! It may as well be 7am for me!

I agree with you all... drink all night, get up at 6-7 am is CRAZY! But I'm gonna double dose on the no-doze and ruff it out (I hope).

You can get a drink on the ship at any time.... THeir club opens at 11pm and goes to 3 or 4 am.... just because the goth stuff ends doesn't mean the party ends..... Just ( I can't believe I'm sayin this...) Pace Yourselves!!! THe thing that really kills me is the food... it's great and I tend to eat too much and feel huge. Good thing is you can nap for an hour and go back out and give it hell! We party on every cruise we do but this one scares me a bit do to the all day schedule + Drinking...

yeah the idea of the food scares me too! well the shore excursions will help us stay in shape lol ;p

Okay guys....Roatan might not be the interest here and most of you are the types that probably want to scuba dive but please isn;t anyone taking the island tour? I must be the only one so far since I have not yet been comfirmed. I only bite sometimes.......

When I sailed on this ship on May.. the booze stopped flowing at about 3am.

The disco is about the same, but then we went up to the aft lido deck and drank some more.

I haven't booked shore excursions for Roatan and Freeport yet because I was waiting to see what Carnival had to offer, but I will probably book the tour in Roatan and the catamaran in Freeport this weekend.

Is Carnival going to update anytime soon?

I have no idea when Carnival is going to update their site. You may have to wait till you get on the ship.

I have been hounding them for 3 days straight, and they are just really dragging their feet on this.

Z do you know if we have a separate goth group on the carnival shore excursions or is it just with shoretrips?

I'm waiting for monday. There are some storms lurking about and my credit card is very cranky with the changes and rebookings (they suck overall to begin with).

I figure not much is likely to change between monday and sat.

Our seperate private tours are only with shoretrips

@Doublefisted.....are you doing the beach break thru carnival or the fun in the sun with shoretrips???? If you are doing the fun in the sun we could split a cab and save some $$$$
