There are many things in life

that are also in fairytails and folklore

There are Vampires and witches

and nymphs, elves and dwarfs



There are many more

but there isn't much time to name

You may know some without knowing

but it isn't them to blame



They hide because there isn't understanding

of mythical things in 'real' life

they lay in wait

till the time is right



Till that happens

just keep in mind

they all live in this world

and will stay forever in time.

The night is cold,

and so am i,

filled with hope,

looking to the sky.



Hoping for a new life,

where i can be free,

show who i am,

and sing happily.



But as i look up,

I stay where i am,

thinking about how,

i like to swim.



Thats when i dive,

into a lake, so cold,

i know even in time,

I will never grow old.



Water is my place,

my safe haven, my home,

I know there will be water,

no matter where i roam.

Everything dies eventually,

When your cried over,

you've made a good impression,

and there was something to die for.



People may change all they want,

but the beauty inside may not come out,

people critisize the outside

causing the beautiful person to cry and shout



Sometimes i wish that some people

had my eyes

because i can see the person

on the inside



Either way you will eventually die,

Laying in your coffin looking beautiful

And in the midst of it all

they will see your beauty is truthful.

Now i lay me, down in bed,

knowing that i will soon be dead,

If someone cries for me after tonite,

i will know i at least did something right.
