Shall I write about a love that

I once held in my arms..?

Or castrate my inner strength

with absurd words that

might cause a need for alarm..?

Should I be trapped with these

memories of a love I once knew..?

Would it be better if I just took a step back,

gave my mind a chance to react,

to look at my life in a different point of view

just so that I can start over new..?

I would drown myself in your tomorrows

but you'll never see my inner sorrow..

You kissed me with your black tongue,

for that my world has felt undone..

So I'll take this time to disengage it

with a sound mind I won't soon forget..

I'm done with feeling as if my mind

should find a way to self devour

due to the fact that
