I can't describe in words how much I dislike discussing politics with my mother.
If I had to pick between running naked down Michigan Avenue on St. Patrick's day yelling "Kiss me I'm Irish" and discussion politics with my mother, my only question would be, "how far would you like me to run?"
I can appreciate she grew up in a different country, that's she's a Saudi, etc. But I tend to me more middle of the road like my Dad. And sure, my dad loves it because when I come over, he can just laugh and listen and be glad it's not him in the hot seat.
I love my father and mother dearly, don't get me wrong, just want the madness to stop! ;)

Had fun this weekend, went target shooting with a fellow Marine buddy and picked up a new .45. The S&W M&P model. What impressed me on this one was the grip. Very soft and comfortable.
My Glock 9's grip has these "ribbs" every inch or so down the grip and it makes for an uncomfortable hold after a while.
Plus, for me at least, I prefer the recoil of a .45 over others, because it feels more like a "push" than a "pull", if that makes sense.

Percocet

I hurt my leg on a rock on Sunday (no big deal really), but I got a prescription for percocet. Wow, that stuff makes me pretty loopy, lol. I actually hit my head on the keyboard last night while trying to stay awake, lol.
I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, so I think I'll stay away from it unless the pain gets too unbearable.
Thanks you guys, I'm ok, it was during a military exercise so I was in good hands the whole time. No big deal really, just a minor limp is all, nothing big. :)

I don't get why people join this site and agree to the way it's run and its rules and then whine about not wanting to be in a coven.
This is a Vampire site, kids. Do you really think a Vampire is going to tap you politely on the shoulder and ask, "pardon me, but I was just wondering, if you, um, would like to join my little coven, pretty please?" (If so, you need to watch more Vampire movies.)
Of course not, he's going to "induct" you in the blink of an eye, before you even know what's going on. Forced inductions were designed to create adversity, to form alliances and to build character.
If you want a site where you get to join a friendly club and have all the clubs love and hug each other, I'm sure there are plenty of Strawberry Shortcake websites out there you could join.
So ask yourself, are you going to be the whining baby that complains because there's just little coven representation graphic on your page, or are you going to get with the program and enjoy it? You can even ignore the little graphic on your page and continue on as though nothing happened, it's really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, right?
And think of it this way, you should feel great that a Coven would actually want you. Doesn't that make you feel better, that there are people out there that think you are a good enough person to be part of their Society? That you're liked and wanted?
