2012

This year has been a long and painful one. We have witnessed more stupidity on behalf of our elected leaders and the heads of major companies that should happen in a life time, never mind one 12 month period of time.

The weather disasters have left many countries on the edge of collapse. Millions of people have died to one freak climate event or another. In such a time of rumblings and shakings around the globe, we have decisions to make. I have said this many times before but it is worth repeating.

We need to stop looking to our leaders to take care of our futures and do it for each other. I think together we are far more capable of seeing the solutions to the problems we have much better than they. I hope and pray that in 2012 we will reach out to each other and take responsibility for our dreams and seeing them come to pass.

May 2012 prove to be the best year yet

for you and yours!!!!

What a year

15:29 Dec 20 2011

Ok, it is time once again for me to get on my soap box. Watch, I am short so the new height makes me a bit dizzy.

This has been the year from hell, across the world but I am really only concerned about the parts that affect Americans directly. The economy is on the brink of a melt down. The government can't do anything about it because they are too busy sucking their thumbs and telling us it is the other guys fault. At this point, it is almost surprising that there hasn't been more violence as a reaction to all the bull we are constantly forced to accept. I never back violence unless it is necessary and as of right now I don't see that being the case.

It has become clear to me that if we hope for life to improve in this country, we are going to have to make it happen ourselves. I think protesting is a good idea but how did we lose so much from the '60's on how this is done. There was no real human dignity to the "Occupy" movement and from what I can tell none coming. It is time we let Washington know this is not their country but ours. It is time we sent them the message that we can care for our own alot better than they can care for us. Uncle Sam is a poor parent. We also need to grow up again and show some pride and responsibility. We need to show our children what it means to stand for something and what it means to stand with each other. Putting aside our petty differences and finding common ground to make life better for every one instead just looking out for our own best interest. The "yuppy" thing has been proven not to work.

That was alot for some one of my size but it was what is on my mind. I have grown weary of all the manure that has been pumped out on the news about our illustrious leaders If they can't handle the job of leading perhaps it is time we did.
