A new Year is once again close at hand, tho I seldom remember anything of this last year for it sped by so fast. Hoping all have a safe and happy new year. Means closer to retirement in my life.

Christmas was ok, her family came up for presents and dinner and left as fast as they showed up. Spent the rest of the night at the bar with friends. so that was christmas.

Busy day, brunch with girlfriends kids and drive back in time to go to her Christmas party at her work, yep boy what fun. Spend 2 hrs driving today in the rain, what I really enjoy to do.. lol

Hope everyone have a great holiday if I don't get on much. The next few weeks. Be safe and enjoy the moments for tomorrow is never promised.

Weekends seem like they are done in an hour, wish it would be like the work week and seem to linger. Need to go get ready more shopping today oh yeah.

Flood warnings are in effect tell Friday, suppose to get 4-6 inches of rain by then. Wonderful December so far. The slide t my home has now toppled 7 trees down into my driveway, will have to cut them up in spring, I guess. Waiting for the mud to start flowing now.

Under the weather these last couple days,never take time off work unless it's a vacation. Usually they pay me out on my sick leave, not this year.

Got a cold from last hospital visit and thought I had kicked it but it came back in one day of fever, headaches, earache. Fell better today but going to call in just to get this bug out of me. Sorry for my lack of time on here.

Life is taken for granted so much in our world, for those who are forgotten on Holidays and in general life around us. Sights you don't want to see ever: is the sheriffs and a coroner at a house which you know the individual, happened this morning on my way to work out of the neighborhood. A friend of his said he might of took his life last Friday, a day After Thanksgiving.

Wish people would just reach out before they get to that point, so sad in life for there is no return at this point. Prayers to the family and his friends in our neighborhood. He helped all of us when we needed a hand. Yet a soul forgotten and desperate on a low time in their life. I cannot put anymore words on it.......Sorry
