Yesterday a man blew up a chunk of my country's capital city, Oslo. He then went off to an island were political teenagers were having a summer camp out, there were between 500-700 teenagers there, the man dressed up as a police officer, had the kids gather around him and told them about the bombing and that everything was ok, they were safe, he then drew a gun and started shooting them, so far 85 are confirmed dead from the island shootout, and 7 from the bombing.

The teenagers tried to swim to safety, he stood on the beach shooting them as they swam for their lives, then stalked around on the island shooting every teenager he could find. The teens on the island were all between 15-25 years old, bodies that were carried away by the ocean still turn up everywhere. They were all so young, only kids. I know two people that were on the island, they survived, but we still trole the newspapers dreading to find a picture of a friend, or a schoolmate, a familiar face among all the dead from this horrible tragedy.

Keep the survivors and the families in your prayers, this horrible masacre will never be forgotten, nothing so horrible has happened in norwegian history since world war 2, the country is in shock, as am I.

Once the shock wears off, hopefully they'll find who was behind this terrible tragedy. I came across this quote by Obama yesterday, and it sounded like it was a warning like maybe Norway didn't want to "play the game" either with war funding or actual participation.

"It's a reminder that the entire international community has a stake in preventing this kind of terror from occurring," Obama said.

Well I got the news today, I got accepted to Hivo On the south coast, Im starting school in august, taking out a student loan next week and moving as soon as I find a suitable apartment.. My future starts now, wonder if this is the future for me though, I dont know what I wanna be, or if this schooling is even for me. But I guess I gotta go to find out. Im accepting for one reason, its an easy way out of my current life and into a brand new one, filled with students, beer, a new city and hopefully: friends, and maybe even a cute guy in my near future? lol who knows? :D
