Was able to watch the space shuttle Discovery lift off yesterday as well as the last one... been watching liftoffs since Mercury (ok I was little!) and each time, brings tears to my eyes... don't know why but just watching does something to me. That they were safe was a big one, the sheer power of it all, going up there, just hits me down deep.

Hope the 1st manned Mars mission includes a trip to "the Face on Mars", among other things....
