Scared to Death

I might be off of here for a while. I've been having problems with my own eyes. I'm going to see the doctor soon about my headaches and blurry as hell vision. I am using the magnifier now to be able to get online. It's been getting worse over the past few months. I'm hoping it's nothing.
Either way, Brett's not letting me drive anymore until I see the doctor and get it straigthened out.
I can say one thing though. Seeing Courtney the way she is... it's making me take this all seriously now because I really don't want to be blind.

I got back in contact with my Courtney on Christmas. It was dramatic is all I can say. She's now blind and can only see 'shadow people' now.
Yesterday and Christmas, Brett and I took the baby and hung out with her.
Yesterday was a blast! We went and kidnapped Jared and didn't tell him where he was going with us until the car was moving. We told him what was going on and things. He didn't know how to react, but I don't think anyone is going to know that when they first come back around her.
It was like old times. It cheered all of us up. Tickle fights and pokes.
We're planning on working with Courtney to help her adapt to the lack of sight. We took her to my Uncle Junior's house and she did okay. I'm hoping to start taking her out into public places to get her less scared.
I know she's trusts me and Jared beyond belief so I'm hoping we can get her out of the house more and more.
Brett and I want to get her a 'blind computer.' It's going to cost a little over $2,000 but she's worth it. I love her so much!
Oh and Brett's talking to Job and Family Services tomorrow to see about getting into the mining classes offered around here. He's going to be going into the mine. *sighs* I'm not too happy about it but I will deal, I guess.
