Words to my Love

With a breath of fresh air, a dim light turns on in the distance. I see the path before me foggy and with small clearings down the center, do I take this path that I have no knowledge of or do I stay on the dark path I've been on all of these years?

The fork in the road which presents itself leave me with an eerie sense of comfort and self desire. To take the path on the right which I have no knowledge of or the path on the left to which I've become tiresome over and angered with all this time?

I can see the end of my path on the left, its dark and dampened with hollowness. Its sure to leave me with regret, hurt and an empty soul. The path on the left is a path of which I know will be death of me in the end.

So I look to the path on the right with a great sense of exploration and desire of the unknowing. Leaving the path behind me and taking on a new future, a future that may be my greatest journey.

The path on the left has my past glooming over it with a sufficating blanket over it to which I can no longer be on. I will leave that path and move onto a path that will provide me with new experiences in my life to which I was never opened to before!

Things that I want can be seen in the distance; my goals, my desires and the one who will be there beside me to take some of the weight off my shoulders.

The question still remains will I be happy on this path??? IF I keep and open mind, and an open heart to it all I will be truly happy on this path.

So now I ask of you, will you join me on this journey and come out of hiding? Will you stand beside me, will you hold my hand and walk this unbeaten path? Will you have the courage to love, will you have the strength to endure will you have the will to go on?

If you have the need, want, will, courage and strength to walk this road with me then I ask of you... be the Man that I will spend the rest of my life with walking down this path.

Be the man that I know and see, be the man that you know you want to be, be the man that will love with all your heart, be the man that will stand up for whats right and the man that will say it when he is wrong. Be the man with a soft shoulder and a strong arm for me to lean on.

I want to you to travel this road with me in all its wonder, glory and mystery, I want you to be the one that when I get to the end of this road I will see and know that I've been loved by someone that embodies everything that I love and I've grown to love even more each day!

I will be your soft shoulder and your strong arm when you are in need, I will give you my heart in its purest form. I will stand beside you, not infront or behind... because I am proud to be at the side of someone so wonderful. I will tend to you in your times of need, I will love you for who you are. I will be the one who understands and does not judge you for your ideas. I will stand tall and firm so that no one will take you down not even a notch!

You're my heart. You're my soul. You're my desire. You're my one and only.

That is by far the most powerful and strong but true poem in its rarest forms. Bravo! this is a beautiful masterpiece that you created. I hope that my mate one do see`s and notices me and says something like this and I would reply yes my dearest love yes together as one a whole that is complete. The emtpiness that was once void will be fulled up with pure love and passion honesty respectful caring ect and ect.
