The moon has phases. Feelings are fleeting. Here one minute gone the next. Mark them, feel them and let them go in the wind.
Far too often we burying them. Sometimes because we feel guilty for moving on, that if we do it means we somehow love them less. That we will forget them.
I have already forgotten what her laugh sounds like. I know that she lives inside me and is all around me.
Some days I feel an orphan but I know it is only the child in me. The one that will never feel like there will never be a day where I don’t need my Mommy especially when the days have been dark and long.
I hear her voice inside me everyday encouraging because she is apart of my heart nothing can change that not separate me from her even death.
Do I still cry? Yes. Do I still talk to her? Yes.
Does she talk back? Yes. She is not gone she has just transformed…
