120 pieces of candy later, and I'm out! WOW! This has been the busiest year I can remember for halloween, and a lot of great costumes!

It started as soon as i got home and I just had to end it now.

And the odd thing? My parents live not 5 minutes away and they've had maybe 20 trick or treaters.



Again, Happy Halloween!

it's 530pm and already I've had 2 groups of trick or treaters at my door.. damn!

Hope I have enough chocolate to give them all tummy aches;)

Me, I'm still waiting for what's owed, but then, I'm getting used to being taken advantage of, then stabbed in the back.



funny thing? I'm going to get a really angry message over this, making me out to be the bad guy again, because I just don't understand.



Priorities.

Every time I talk to you, chat online or read your journal, I can't help but smile. You do good things to me and it's time for you to do good things for you, you deserve it.

I'd say who I'm talking about, but those that know (and you're really the only ones that matter) know who I mean.



You rock my socks daily.

I feel and look like I've been date-raped by an octopus.

My body is covered with paintball (and bigger) sized welts from 2 days of competing with the best in the scenario paintball world.

To put it mildly, we got our asses handed to us. While Black Ops is an excellent team, the caliber of players and teams we were up against was a whole other level. We played, we learned, we had fun, but we still lost.

However, 15th in the world and 2nd in Canada is a pretty damn good ranking, and we'll take it for now.

Going to this event was well worth it. The bus ride there and back (20 hours each way) brought us closer as a team and as friends. Then we got the chance to hit the field with some of the best players to play the game. It was worth getting shot up a lot just to learn from them. And there were some fantastic highlights too! Bosy's single-handed attack on the swing base vs Suppressor, my run through the middle twice, once vs Suppressor, once vs Forest Demons, Ty's and Rev's assault vs Forest Demons, our Durka Durka train run, mooning the entire competition, Kinger's dive into an Oak that broke his shoulder and his after comment of ' I didn't think they made trees that hard down here'.

All in all it was a good time. We all wanted to do better, but hey, it's our first year competing together at this level! We'll be back stronger than ever next year.

Pity I have to go back to the daily grind. I could live paintball for the rest of my life!

7 days and we leave... 7 days to the biggest paintball challenge of my life. It's funny, I've gotten older, maybe better, maybe a little slower and NOW is the time I get to go back to the world's...interesting.

7 days, 6 hours and counting to departure. 15+ hours after that, arrival. Check in to the hotel, go to the field, walk the field, go back and try to sleep. Saturday= play our hearts out in hopes of playing again on Sunday.

Have mentionned how huge this is?

Geez, 3 entries in one night, something must be up! lol

Actually, this is just to say, for those of you who care, that the next few weeks will be insane here and will make it challenging for me to actually get on here for any significant length of time.

if you've been following, I've got the World Championships of Scenario paintball coming up in Oklahoma. Forgive me if I'm insanely distracted by that as i tech my markers, clean everything, pack, repack, pack again, triple check everything to make sure I've got all I need... its going to tax me to the max, but oh god will it be worth it!

Backtrack to Saturday... got to have an absolutley hilarious conversation with friends... made all of us laugh as the information they got is soo not me. Funny thing about gossip, if you're not careful who you tell and what you tell, all you do is make an ass out of yourself to those you told.

I'd say lesson learned as I sit here and giggle, but somehow I doubt it.. somehow it'll all be my fault.. which in it's own way makes me giggle even harder...lmao

Spent Sunday out at the annual 'Day of the Dead' big game at one of the local fields.... damn what a blast! Close to 800 players, perfect weather.. and i had a girl playing with my stiffi all day! AND she really, really enjoyed it! woot!

Gotta love paintballers, eh?
