The weather for Earth Day could not have been more inviting if it tried. We spent hours in the garden, planting potatoes, peas, and strawberries. The process of waking each bed feels invigorating because they're just how we left them in the fall, all tucked in and left alone to shelter all the crawlies and wrigglies that we rely on, to "sleep" through the winter months.
I'm so grateful for days like these. This is what it's about for me.
