......Yesterday I got a message from Amazon.com that there was a problem processing my order due to an issue with my credit card.





Fearing the worst I logged into Amazon to see what the problems was..... ready for this....





I had placed an order for a certain book that was not yet released. In the same order I purchased a book that shipped to me. Since I had chosen the free shipment option they split my order - first sending me the book that was in stock and then just making me wait for the other.



Well the book that was on pre order is now in stock and the issue is that the credit card was declined.



Want to know why?















BECAUSE I PLACED THE F-ING ORDER IN OCTOBER OF 2008!..........2008!!!!! THE GOD DAM CREDIT CARD DOES NOT EVEN EXIST ANY MORE!





Needless to say I was a bit impressed that they still had the order on file and that they were still trying to fill it. However since half the order shipped I could not change the credit card - I had to cancel that one book off the order and re-order it again seperatly.



......sheesh.

I know what the real problem is. They are in the Amazon rainforest. I don't think that they even have internet there.
