Every time I realize how shitty people treat me, it's always a big surprize to me. For instance, my whole life, it never occured to me anyone was anti-semitic towards me, because I'm not actually Jewish. I identify with ethnic minorities more than they even realize, because a lot of people treat me as if I'm Jewish, Latina, Arab, etc... The problem with that is, minorities still see me as white/gringa, and often treat me just as shitty as white bigots do. So, I am even worse than a minority - an outsider everywhere.

I actually own a "raspberry beret" for some reason...and if just ONE MORE person disrespects me, I SWEAR I am going to smash something. It's REALLY NOT OK.
