It's because most people who would keep a diary or paper journal now uses the internet for the same thing. However, instead of keeping it personal, they allow others a glimpse into their glamours to mundane life now really caring what anyone thinks since they never asked for them to read what they wrote. Some write for therapeutic reasons and it is a form of outlet for themselves. I personally feel someone can write the same one word every day on their page and it wouldn't bother me since it's my choice whether to go to their page and read it or not. I would think it odd though, but I'm sure they wouldn't care in the lease. LOL!
