You know,woodland animals tell us so much,even from far away.The other night,I walked out of my friend's house and it was around 11pm.Birds were singing in every tree.Loudly.This went on for a little while .I just stood in the quiet and the dark and listened.Finally,I went to check on the water troughs and horses before I went to my house.My partner walked up ,wondering wheere I had gotten off to.The birds were still singing and I told him there might be an earthquake.We didnt say or think anymore of it.

Untill the next morning when we heard about one that had happened that night.I checked the location,and while it wasnt in the state,it occured on the Same faultline..the New Madrid.

My point is,this happened to me fairly recently when one night I awoke about 2am and went outside.The woods were restless..noisy.I knew something was amiss,even though I really didnt know what..I even wrote about it in my journal before I went back to bed.Well,we had a good tremor about an hour after the time I had taken note,about 30 miles from us..I have always paid a great deal of attention to animals and their behaviour,and have pretty much known when storms are coming and stuff..but you can bet,I will be looking alot closer when I see them acting so out of character .Especially at night.

I agree - and not just woodland animals. Last major quake we had, right before it, my cat was unusually anxious and wanted reassurance from me, and our dog started howling, also unusual for her.

If only we as humans were still so attuned to the earth. Although I knew a guy who said he could smell earthquakes. I kind of believe him as he did accurately predict three in our area while we were in contact with each other.

Exactly Blu,I watch the horses constantly because they tell me alot when it comes to weather and such.the night we had the quake,they had been restless all day.

As for smelling an earthquake..I know this is a true phenomenon because I personally know that smell .It can be compared to and smells almost identical to Ozne.Thing is,I have smelled this during or shortly after,but not before.I believe it is the smell of the energy released during a quake as the plates slip or strike.

what you you do?

You know about a person and things they have done in the past.What if you had been asked to help someone get rid of this person because for one,they didnt really like them in the end because they found out that this person was married and was essentially having an affair with the one who wanted to dump them.They got so desperate to be rid of this person that they resorted to posting the sexually explicit pictures that said person had been sending them.Sooo you talk the desperate guy into taking those pix down because you feel bad for said person.

Crapp flies for a time ,you do your best to mediate things and then everyone goes their separate ways.You never say a word to anyone about anything so everyone can continue their lives without too much trouble.

Then here they come ,in a different name and instead of leaving you alone,they do something to you they really shouldnt have ..Do you confront this said person? Or let sleeping dogs lay?

I suppose it would depend on what they did. If it really affects you (since it was something they shouldn't have done) I recommend that you attempt to get them to stop the crap.

If it's just them being petty and sending messages and the like, nothing that will really hurt you in the long run, I would just block and ignore.

That being said, I have never been known for my confrontational skills.

Know what? Thanks for all the imput.But I might just let this one slide.We arent going to get justification every single time someone crapps our the toliet and doesnt flush.

I know what she did,and so does she.

everyone seems to have forgotten,or maybe has never learned that respect is not simply given.Respect is something that we all have to EARN.It absoloutely amazes me how people demand respect as though they are entitled to it or something just by being.Thats a load of Bull.Are you honestly going to respect someone who is a total ass? Or who does nothing to contribute to anything or anyone ? I dont effin think so.I know I sure do not respect someone like that .

And when someone demands it from you dont even know ?Wow.Maybe people should try to understand the meaning a little more.I mean,sure everyone should be courteous,and everyone does deserve some kind of courtesy upon meeting or early interactions..but no way,no how will I ever respect you,untill you show me that you deserve it.

And in reality? To be respected is an honour..theres a reason for that you know.

Being rude and arrogant seems to be the acceptable behavior right now. I see this everyday, people demanding to be respected and they treat others like dirt. Your right respect is earned. If people would just show a little kindness the world would be in better space.

five ribbons.All in the hunt seat division,which is great because he is a western horse.The third Im real happy about because he beat 27 other horses.Couldnt even show western..my boss forgot the show bridle!! LOL.We had a great time though and hats all that counts really.Its been such a long day,but it was fun.Got in the ribbons and in the money(six class was a money class,and we won...so yea,the work paid off.And now,Im going to go get in the shower,then bed.

And I have tommorow off!
