In days gone by

Before I died

I felt pain

And I cried

I felt joy

And I smiled

I was shunned

But reconciled

I felt pain

And I yelled

I felt like others

And I rebelled

I felt sad

And I wept

I felt tired

So I slept

I felt pain

And I cried

A favorite it of mine now for the emotion it expresses. It shows what you can write when you're feeling something strongly enough.

I know these feelings and thoughts. I, too, am living within them. Excellent write.
