Something just doesn't add up. I have tried to work it out, a few times now, based on the information which I've been given.

Those who know me, seem to like me, whereas those who don't like me because of my actions in implementing the rules, never get to know me and often paint me as some kind of power-tripping asshole.

It was brought to my attention that certain individuals believe that their freedom of speech has somehow been infringed, by an action which they were subject to recently.



I disagree. Having read the material in question in that particular journal, I think that extremely valid questions have been raised over what is and is not appropriate and acceptable for user submitted VR content.



While it clearly is not the responsibility of the VR staff to filter content, nor are we obligated in any fashion to restrict submissions, there are however certain standards which must be maintained, for moral and legal reasons.



I would ask this person, along with others who have read said content, whether they feel it is in any way appropriate for posting on a website which is frequented by a majority teenage population.



It's a disgusting thought to have, considering this persons age, what has been written and who has been reading it. In fact, I am outraged that such journal entries were even considered suitable for posting by this 'person'.



I know for certain that I would be aghast if I found that my child had read what I've read. It is vulgar, bordering on the obscene and I am shocked that it has not been blocked and an instruction made that it be removed.



I read through the TOS regarding this issue and found that the below, in my opinion, certainly applies in this instance.

The last couple of nights have been really good for me.



Considering my current circumstances, I actually had everything that I could have wanted for.



There was nothing else I would have asked for, other than to feel the light touch of fingers brushing my hair back from my face.



What I would have done for warm hands to ease the ache in my body, to caress my skin.



But I was satisfied, with all that I had and was given.



Friday night, I was knocked out cold, totally emptied of energy and utterly relaxed. Saturday, I was alive like a live wire, excited and eager.



I fell asleep with a smile and awoke with a greater one, as I do most days now.



How different it is from just a few weeks ago, where I was in agony, cold alone and empty.



Now, I am filled with the warmth of companionship.



I am as amazed as I am intrigued by someone so special, so lovely inside, who cares for people and it seems, cares for me.

I have 198 profiles on my block list. Say that perhaps 10% of those have since deleted, leaves me around 178, which is only one and a quarter percent of the total User Levels.



I had thought that it would have been so many more...



Maybe I ought to use it more often. heh

A little over ten years ago, I walked out of the squat which I was living in and went to live on the street, staying with friends, sleeping rough, wandering around and just doing what it took to get by and survive.



After a while, I got the chance to stay in the flat of an ex girlfriend over the summer, while she went back to her moms, as her college year had finished.



I decided to use the opportunity to get work. Unfortunately, for this work, I made a decision I've always regretted. I got my hair cut. Apparently, it wasn't acceptable for a manager of a McDonalds (yes, boo hiss), to have long hair and besides, it was a bitch to wash twice a day.



Anyway, it's been ten years and a lot of thankful moments that I have had short hair, as in hot sweaty nightclubs, but I feel that the time is right for me to grow it back. If only I can make it past that crappy stage where it looks like a throwback to seventies mods.

So I suspended her posting privileges.



After a bit of abuse from her and another polite message from me explaining why she is suspended and why she is not allowed to make those posts, her final message to me was "fuck you".



What lovely persons we have here on VR nowadays.

Shockingly, I actually liked Stardust.

Sometimes, the box conversation just makes me want to puke.



Next to that puerile filth, certain journal entries actually leave me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Yes, I am an asshole.

30 Days of Night was a terrible movie.



The plot was sub-standard, as was the majority of the acting. Barring the one relatively minor but rather interesting plot twist at the end, the characters were almost entirely one-dimensional, as were the vampires.



Again we find a monstrous representation of dirty, ragged, blood-soaked and damn ugly murdering beasts, with no background as to their story- they just turn up on the first night and start eating people.



The stupid noises that the vampires make, coupled with their inability to wipe their mouth after they feed, places them amongst the worst cinematic representations going.



Add some awful dentistry and dress sense, to be left feeling like this is just the same old, same old run of the mill disaster movie garbage, where the most interesting thing about it, is predicting which poor sap is going to die next.

One of your Coven members, xxxxxx, seems to be implying, both in their personal journal and now in the public forum, that a specific Dominar, obviously myself, has some form of 'vendetta' against them and your Coven.



This is sincerely not the case and I am insulted at the suggestion of such.



If your member feels that they have the position to tell other members what they can and cannot post in the forum, then they are mistaken, as they are not a Dominar, nor even an Acolyte.



Twice today, I have deleted obnoxious responses along those lines from different threads.



To notice the whine in a journal about it, is irrelevant to me, but if they will insist in bringing their personal misinterpretation of my actions, in fulfilling the role as Dominar on this site, into the Forum, then yes, I will suspend their posting privileges.



This is the same member whom I spoke to you about previously where they were quite insulting towards me on another occasion.



If they cannot come to realise that they are not the only person who's posts are removed for irrelevance, then they are going to have a tough time of it. They are not special to me, nor do they occupy such a significance in my life that I would deign to spend the time 'victimising' them.
