My Journey Has Begun

Yes, I'm on a journey....it's one of self discovery. It's shown itself to be a difficult path with lots of curves that hide the outcome from me...bumps that make progression difficult....and no ruts to keep me focused and in place. Despite all the challenges and the hurdles that I have faced and will face in the future, I am determined to make it to the end of this journey and to the destination that has been marked out for me. I just hoist my sack and with my head up...not looking back....keep trekking on with my eyes ahead and my mind set to reach my destination.
To all my friends along the way....You mean more to me than you know...you are each in your own way part of my journey and I cherish you like the finest of jewels. Thank you for all your love, care, and support.
I would like to take the time to put in a word or two for a couple of special friends.

You're like a sister to me and I love you so very much. You never judge me, yet you never fail to be truthful with me...even if the truth might sting. I adore you more than you know. I hope that life is all that you want and more my friend. You deserve it. You're so very dear to me, and I hope to have you on my side for the rest of my days.

Though we've only been friends a short time...you've quickly grown to be a very dear friend and are held close to my heart. You always find a way to make me smile even when all I want to do is lay my head in my hands and cry. I love you for that and more. I also pray that you find what you deserve in life...you so deserve to be happy and loved.
I'm truly a blessed creature...and I've been given the gift of perseverence and by god I will make it to the end of this journey and smile all the way.
