The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Well the house is almost unpacked and the internet is hooked up.

Actualy the house was almost done being unpacked three days ago... ahem.. I have been organizing stuff since then before more boxes get done. The only boxes left are those in the garage that are for some reason all marked arts and crafts.

We thought.. ok I have a lot of that stuff sure.. its understandable.. but no.. there was one box that had wolfbites clothes in it.. not arts and crafts.



Finding lots of broken things... sighs.. and its depressing me to try and find what it would cost to replace some of the stuff. There are actual items that cannot be replaced because they are one of a kind pieces. :(



One of the items that is broken is a ceramic piece that I did for Khornesone. I found a replacement, unpainted, for $10. Shipping on it is $11.50. ok no problem.. well with that part..

The problem is in the fact that I will have to repaint it.. and then fire it. Thankfuly I still have the paints because I transported those with us in the van, or I would have to buy them all over again at $5 + a bottle. Then add in the cost of firing at $0.25 an inch and its about 9 inches tall and 9 inches wide.. see where I am going with this? Not to mention the time it takes to paint the piece... sighs.



What gets me is that I wrapped it origionaly, all the packers had to do was put it in a box and it would have been fine.. They unwrapped it from its bubble wrap encasement.. and wrapped it in two sheets of paper...



Things are broken big and small a like.. My dresser.... busted.. a book case.. busted.. pieces of my china.. busted.. steins that where part of my inheritance.. busted.. about 9 of them in total.. Those made me cry as I had just gotten them from my mother before we moved. They had been my step fathers and he would tell me how he got each one and why. Mom held onto them for me these past 13 years and I thought it would be ok to finnaly have them with me.



blah now I am depressed even more.



Anyways..

We are in the house, its almost unpacked. Internet is up, house phone is up. Wolfbite is enrolled in school, the boy is almost completely enrolled. Khornesone is settling into his job this week and the cats have almost stopped throwing up on things from stress.. I say almost because they are cats... hairballs happen.. But at least not several times a day now. oi



Baby turtle is happily swimming in her tank.



Life is moving on.

Yeah!! Tomorrow we get our stuff! Then the game of "what's in this box?" Begins!



Seriously, and VW should find humor in this, we are marking the rooms so its easier for the mooving crew to know where stuff goes. Master bedroom, dining room, living room, boys room, grils room, garage.



Oh and..."grils room" is not a typo...one of the packers labeled all of alexis stuff "grils room". Won't my grill get jelouse when it has to stay in the garage and we give all its my littlest pet shop stuff to the girl.



:)



Anyways... tomorrow is household goods arrival day.

And what a scavenger hunt it has been. Found the coffee day 2, still no coffee pot. :(



Am finding pleanty of broken things. We still have one missing item from the manifest as well. I have a feeling its the luau party decorations... its not confirmed though. K thought it was one of his warhammer transport cases but we finally found that in a box marked bedding.
