Well, today, or yesterday, seeing as it is now 1:07 in the morning, I saw in interesting sight. First, while it was still dark, a lady dragonfly found it's little way to the light bulb outside of SlaveOfTheNite's front door. I was memorized by her, seeing as I've only held a dragonfly twice. I encouraged her to crawl onto my hand before Blake shut the light off. In the sudden darkness the little lady flew away. I saddened and went about my business. Blake turned the light back on and she instantly came back. Again I took her into my hands and awed at her dull beauty. For a few minutes we sat there together until finally she flew to her roost by the bulb. I went to bed and awoke later that afternoon. On my walk back to my humble abode, I noticed a little white moth fluttering frantically about along the ground. Beautiful as it was, it didn't last long. A horse fly followed along in its path. The chase only lasted seconds before the fly took the moth down. I watch curiously as the moth twitched. The fly only grasped stronger. A few short heartbeats later the moth moved no more. In its final few moments a gazed at the fly, wondering what was going on in its tiny little head. I pondered this as I watched it inject the little moth doing only the Animal Planet chanel knows what and eventually went about my day. Ever since my enlightenment in Wicca I've become a lot more conscious of nature and how cruel it can be. She is not a force to be reckoned with, no matter how small or large. Blessed be mother Earth, blessed be.
