Sea Witch Bottle

This is the ONLY spell I know by heart. Its a protective spell. Simple and to the point. My favorite kind. They usually work best. The spell is from a Scott Cunningham book. Which one I cannot remember.

Ideally the materials used would be right off the beach picked by you. Sand, shells and sea water. A mason jar works for the container. Most are not near a beach, just make your own seawater. Sea salt and water. The shells could possibly be gotten for you by a friend along the coast.

If you buys shells make sure any gloss or whatever is on them is removed. The natural state is best. Hobby shops have shells. Sand is sand. Put it all in the jar and seal it up.

Call upon the Goddess.

"Waves on sand, tides in motion. You are now a silent ocean. Avert all evil to the sea, this is my will so mote/must it be."

Simple.

Its not enough to mumble some words and expect results. When calling upon the Goddess it helps to SEE Her. Whether you see Her as a light or a female is entirely up to you, just see Her.

As you start to speak or intone the spell, see and feel the energy from the Goddess coming down to you, through you. Descending upon your head, making its way down your arms, to your hands and into the bottle. Make that bottle glow as bright as you can. Your hands my start to tingle and feel warm.

Typically the bottle is set under the porch steps to keep evil out of your house. You can pretty much place them anywhere. Under the bed. Wherever.

Once you have sealed the bottle, leave it sealed. Also the bottle can be "recharged" every now and then as well.

Just peek at it every few weeks to see if the water has turned black or grey-black. If it has, do not open it, bury it and make another.
