When you see your shitty-ass teammate being attacked so you step in, get the enemy aggro on you, and your shitty-ass teammate RUNS AWAY INSTEAD OF HELPING YOU.
Nah. Justified reason to leave xD Cause otherwise I'm gonna follow you around the map, stand by while watching you get your shit kicked in, and do nothing while you need to be revived. And I'm just not going to waste my fucking time. I've already beaten the game. If you're an awful teammate, if you don't understand the basics of working on a team, I'm not playing with you. It's not that I can't handle a single enemy myself. But I would never run away from a fucking teammate especially immediately after they stopped said enemy from slapping the shit outta me. Motherfucker.

Well that's it, I beat Nightreign~

And I finally got my Black Leather Armor🖤

Which I've never seen another Duchess wearing. I think they put it in just for me. Although I do wish it had the proper mask. Still. Out of all the outfits they could've given her, they gave her the one I've always worn in Dark Souls. I feel like I owe Miyazaki an apology for my doubt. I thought for sure this was going to be a train wreck, and in some ways it is, but it's also a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure that one, if not both, of the people on my team for the last fight we're cheating. They were both Ironeye, and I'm not saying Ironeye can't be good, but I feel like I blinked, and the boss was half dead. I had a staff with Rennala's Moon so I was also doing decent damage, but... I'm suspicious. It was only my second try at him, and the first didn't go terrible, but we definitely weren't doing that damage, and I was with a Wylder and Executor. So now we wait for DLC which is already confirmed to ne coming, more characters, more bosses, more everything hopefully.

When the boss is almost dead, but your teammates... also dead. So the win is up to you, calmly casting fireball~

Actually me IRL, "Pleasedieplease diepleasediepleasedie," xD
I bought that staff at the very beginning of the game. Because I knew we were going up against a fire weak enemy, and I might never find Black Flame or any better staff or seal. There are merchants around the world who sell a random assortment of weapons each round. If you're willing to risk spending your money on equipment. Maybe you find something better naturally, but as Duchess, not having to hunt down towers is a huge relief. I wish they would adjust her character so that her initial load-out included some sorta casting weapon. She's built to be a spellblade, but only comes with the blade.
I saw Rivers of Blood being sold by a merchant even. Now, it was 48,000 Runes which is crazy to spend on a sword. Yes, ROB is one of the best swords in game, but it won't win the run alone, and it won't make up for lack of HP or FP. And this is why it annoys the shit outta me when people say, "I'm a melee build, FP is useless." Ok, but like... you need mana to use ROB's best attack, Corpsepiler. That little blue bar ticks down with every use UNLESS you have FP restores with each successive attack in which case, or at least when I was using it, it basically made it to where you could spam Corpsepiler. Yeah, FP is actually pretty powerful unless you're a big fucking idiot. Corpsepiler also really good, because it's such a strong attack, at reviving teammates. It can be an extremely difficult split-second decision whether you revive or keep fighting. My natural instinct is to pull people back up, but sometimes there's nothing you can do, especially if they keep dying over and over. You want your teammates alive because it provides a safety net even if they're not doing much damage. But people who die constantly become a liability where you're dying trying to save them. You can't save anyone if you can't save yourself. Life lesson.

Are you fucking stupid or just really bad at gaming?
This. This right here. This is one reason why Ironeyes are so fucking bad.
"Gee, why do I even have a mana bar, I don't use mana."
Hey idiots. Almost every weapon in the game has a special ability called a weapons art. Weapons arts use mana aka FP. Probably why so many of you fucking suck so bad. Did you not play Elden Ring? I suspect a lot of people playing Nightreign have never touched a Souls game before, they just saw new, hot multi-player game, and jumped on board to make the rest of us miserable. And it's not that I mind new players, I'm all for it IF you're willing to learn, and utilize the game mechanics. But so many skill less motherfuckers just want to press button, do minimal damage, and be mad when they die. It's my fault, every time someone invites me to an actual competent team I decline because it's boring playing with the same people constantly who you already know are good, and can essily win with. I like to torture myself with randoms,, and so many of them are just bad xD But it's worth it when you get on a random team that's actually good or pull off a win with people who aren't the greatest, but refuse to give up.
I haven't been on Fallout in a couple weeks... Mostly because I'm addicted to Nightreign. But also because I don't give a single fuck about the current season being all fishing bullshit. It just does not interest me at all. I saw they're going after heavy weapons now though, called it xD Heavy weapons and melee, changing up the perk cards of both. It's only fair since they monumentally fucked commando builds, it's time for heavies to be nerfed too. Oh, Bethesda... you just want everyone to hate you, don't you? They're also redoing another two perks that I rely on quite heavily. Grim Reaper's Sprint will no longer have the chance to fully refill my AP, now it's going to be 10% AP regen for every enemy killed. That fucking sucks, I hate it. All these changes are another reason I just don't care to play. Maybe Bethesda wants 76 to be tank so they have an excuse to give up on it. And it sucks because it felt like it was really hitting it's stride, and now... They're making it unplayable.

I left a game today. I know, I know, I'm a fucking hypocrite. But it pissed me off xD And we were only maybe two minutes in. There's a big difference between leaving at the start, and leaving right before the second night boss. What happened was, we had just landed, and cleared the little starter camp. My two teammates took off while I took a second to look around. I noticed a box, and this particular box always contains seals with incantations, and you can often times find Black Flame among them. Three seals popped out, and while I had paused to read what incantations, and passive effects they possessed, here comes running up the Revenant of our team, grabs all three, and runs off. Immediately I left the game xD It's common courtesy that if you see someone standing on top of something, they're probably deciding whether or not to take it so wait til they take or leave it before you rush in. I'm not gonna play with some greedy grabby fucker. Revenant players tend to ruin rounds anyway by not playing their character. For whatever reason, because Revenant is a tiny girl, it's become a thing among most people who play her to find the biggest weapon possible, and use it with her. Couple issues here. She's not built for colossal weapons. She doesn't have the strength or stamina to wield them properly so what happens is her stamina gets wiped in one swipe, the boss swipes back hitting her, and because her HP is also pretty abysmal, she just dies instantly, constantly. Once again, you end up playing babysitter to an idiot. Technically, incantations are Faith based, and Revenant scales S in Faith while Duchess only scales at B so Revenant can wield them better. Ask me how many times I've seen a Revenant using incantations. I've probably witnessed Raider using sorcery more. And I get it, Revenant needs to conserve their mana for their summons, their summons are their whole thing, when they're out of mana they're just a weak melee character. I agree that you should have consideration for your teammates with drops. My soul left my body recently as I watched an Ironeye grab up Eleonora's Poleblade right in front of me, didn't use it the entire round, but he opened the chest first. I've noticed that the really good Ironeyes tend to incorporate melee into their build. Just because their preferred weapon is a bow doesn't mean they can't use other weapons, but most Ironeyes, in my experience, want to stand a mile away, and do minimal chip damage, and instantly die when the boss inevitably turns their attention to them. Stay close tp your team so the boss isn't running wild across the arena, and if it does target you it's really annoying having to chase after it because you're so far away. It also makes it really hard to help you if you're nowhere nearby. It also really fucking annoys me when people bring their remembrance quests into higher boss fights. Remembrance quests are basically character backstory, you activate one on whichever character, and it gives you certain objectives to complete once you're in a round. So people bring these into multi-player rounds, and get mad, and leave when you don't help them. You can't see when someone is going after a remembrance, it just looks like you're pinging the middle of nowhere, and we're trying to get ready for Darkdrift Knight, we don't have time to waste on your side bullshit. I completed Duchess's remembrance single player to avoid inconveniencing my team. You don't have to win the round to complete it, you just have to grab/kill whatever the game tells you to, and if you die it still counts. So bringing that unnecessary shit into a higher round, really, REALLY annoying. The last part of Ironeye's remembrance is to beat Darkdrift Knight though so unfortunately we're getting a lot of awful Ironeye players in this fight, but I actually beat it a second time with two Ironeyes. One of them leaned into melee though which helped a lot. Building your character into multi-class helps a lot with some of them. Some of them are hard-built for one thing, Recluse should stick to magic, Raider should only hit things as hard as possible, Guardian should guard and poke, but characters like Duchess and Ironeye can easily do more than their base build. There are people who say, "If you're Duchess stop using sorcery, and focus on melee." I say do both. It's difficult, it's a lot to manage, but worth it if you're good enough to pull it off.

Enhanced Darkdrift Knight...

Is dead~
First round of the day on a team with a really good Guardian, and a decent Ironeye who friended me after. I would agree that he's easier than enhanced Gaping Jaw, he doesn't really have a gimmick to his fight, he just has different attacks, but I actually think his new second phase is easier than his first. I've also come to realize that Black Flame is my favorite spell/incantation, and it's usually an early find, and it's easier to find than a good staff. Technically Duchess does better with spells than incantations, but it's really iffy whether you'll find a staff that isn't complete garbage even from the towers. The Guardian I was teamed with actually dropped me a staff before the night two boss, and I still stuck with Black Flame because it's also a faster cast than a lot of the spells. Both Gaping Jaw, and Darkdrift Knight move pretty quickly, have huge AOE attacks, and hit very hard so you don't have time for long casting, you gotta get close enough, pull it off, and back off before you get pummeled. This is why Guardian can be so OP because they can draw aggro while blocking which gives casters a chance to get some good shots in. Interestingly, the lore of the game has thr Guardian, and the mage character Recluse in a close friendly relationship which feels intentional because they synergize well together. Obviously it works with Duchess too, but the big reveal for Duchess is that Wylder is her brother. But... they don't remember each other. But... they both remember that their mom taught them how to make a specific pita bread as children. But don't remember each other at all. Yeah, I don't get that either. People are begging for FromSoftware to add a Ciaran outfit for Duchess. However. Wylder already has an Artorias skin, and I always felt it was implied that Ciaran had romantic feelings for Artorias. So... I dunno, kinda weird if brother, and sister are wearing their outfits, maybe just me xD

I finally figured out how to block people on Nightreign. So let the Block party begin. Already blocked probably 7 people today. If you leave a game, I'm fucking blocking you. And it's obvious the difference between someone who probably just got disconnected, and someone who purposely ditched the game. The ditching usually occurs after stupid deaths, especially when someone attempts to tackle something they're not ready for, dies several times, and suddenly they're gone. Or they run off by themselves, die so no one is there to revive them, get mad and leave. Death is easy to recover from, the most you lose is a level so I dunno, maybe it's just embarrassment. I don't judge anyone for dying, especially at lower levels, it happens. Now, if you keep going after the thing that killed you, and keep dying, then I'm judging the shit outta you cause it's ok to walk away. Better to walk away than die ten times. Maybe it's just because the new enhanced boss dropped, but it was a massive day of awful teams. If you're bad, don't try the hardest boss. You'll only be weighing the good players down. I can't babysit, and revive you constantly. And people get mad when you refuse to revive them. Too fucking bad. I'll revive you twice, if you're dead three times within 2 minutes of the fight starting, you can watch me fight it from your corpse or you can fucking leave. Even if I revive you, you're not gonna do any significant damage, you're not gonna help in any real way, you're just gonna die again. Ironeye mains WHY DO YOU DIE SO MUCH. Your ability is literally a super dodge. I'm so fucking tired of playing with Ironeyes, they fucking suck, they never bring anything to the team, it's always someone I constantly have to keep alive. It's ok if you're bad, but stop putting yourself in harder levels if you're bad. There needs to be a bigger punishment for leaving cause their little five minute time-out doesn't deter anyone. I say if you consistently leave games you should be put in a server with other leavers, and you all can spend all day leaving each other. They'll never make it past day one again, they'll never make it past the first five minutes. It honestly makes me not want to play cause it's just frustrating.
Equally, this pisses me off.

Like, who the fuck are you to dictate how people play? You're free to fucking leave, bitch. I want someone to lead, sure, but that's toxic. That's someone who probably leaves games regularly, they belong in a leavers server. You have to have some consideration for what your teammates need, especially those who use magic who don't get regular staff drops like the proper mages do. If I want to have a good round using sorcery I have to hit a tower or two. Be mad and leave. Cause Revenant is just another character that weighs the rest of us down. Honestly, I just wanna play with Wylder and Raider, give me my big boy security guards xD

When you land on a team with a couplea dorks doing the "We beat the boss" happy dance xD
Of course we lost night two. Because Executor sucks. The problem with Executor is that he's made to parry. If you don't know how to parry or aren't good at it, don't play him unless you're willing to practice, and get better. Like Guardian and blocking or Duchess and dodging. If you're not good at a character's thing, maybe main someone else. I got my second win against enhanced Gaping Jaw though, oddly enough with a Recluse and another Duchess. I didn't think we had a shot in Hell. Mostly because I've seen the way other people play Duchess, and... I haven't seen anyone play her the way I do, leaning hard into her natural sorcery abilities. There are generally two types of Duchess players. The one's who can't dodge to literally save their life so you're reviving them constantly or the overly aggressive one who doesn't even try to dodge so you're also constantly reviving them. Makes playing with other Duchess mains really unbearable. To be fair, she is, supposedly according to most people, one of the most difficult characters to play. For me personally, she's the easiest because she most closely matches how I've already played every other Souls game, light, quick, heavy dodging. If you expected me to play with a big heavy sword, and shield, I'd be really, really bad at that character, that's why Raider and Wylder aren't for me, and I know that so I won't waste my time on them. But ya know, I'm not upset when people try new characters, and are bad at them, it's a fucking game, and it's a difficult game for those who don't have experience in the Souls universe. But. I also feel like if you are going to test out characters, and try new shit then you should do it on the easier bosses. If I see your ass testing out Executor in Darkdrift Knight, that's not the place because that, in my opinion, probably the hardest boss, and apparently we're getting his enhanced version on Thursday so... I'm not thrilled for that. I've still got two more big bosses to go before I've beaten them all with ice dragon coming up next. I've fought so many dragons in Elden Ring, and they all pretty much have the same moveser... Tail swipe, chompchomp, smashy hands, swoopy dive, big fire/lightening/ice. Contrary to popular opinion, I really enjoy fighting Augur. Most people seem to hate her, but I think she's possibly the easiest one. She moves slowly, only one really fast attack, and if you hit up a sleep encampment for some bolusus to stave off her putting you to sleep, super easy. Plus, sleep encampments always have two rune bears that both drop rewards so you get double reward from one place. She comes after Sentient in the line-up, but I think she's considerably easier to deal with. Sentient isn't necessarily super difficult, but for whatever reason so many people fall the fuck apart once it initiates second phase, and goes into it's charge. If it's charging at you simply running to the side, and dodge when the magic bullshit shoots at you. It always ends with a big upward spike attack so don't be in front of it. Fireball works well. Actually, fireball works well on enhanced Gaping Jaw too, specifically Black Flame. You don't wanna be close tp that fucker if you can help it because his head smash fucking sucks so it's nice to be able tp fireball from a little range. Until he suddenly turns towards you, and you're in his mouth💀

Finally...

Enhanced Gaping Jaw is done. Fuck that guy. Not even a month old, and they're already adding to the game which is good, and it's kinda necessary for an online game if you want to keep people playing you have to keep pumping out new content. So they're doing enhanced versions of bosses, but one at a time for a limited time. This one is active til Thursday, and I was genuinely worried I wasn't going to beat it because... he's pretty tough. Unlike the original, this one starts off in his second phase form, and it gets worse from there because it's new second phase involves being forced into a small area tornado to fight the fucker. Being outside of the tornado causes consistent damage to you, and it's in no way indicated that this is what's going to happen so a lot of runs on this asshole with teammates who just instantly die once it hits. I went through a lot of teams, most of which weren't even bad, you just don't know what you're in for until you've ran it a few times, and get it down. I finally wound up on a team with a Wylder, and a Guardian. I find that Wylder mains are usually pretty stable, they're good to have around, they generally do good work. And finally I got to play with a Guardian who impressed me because they did what their fucking character was made to do, GUARD. At the first stop in the round I found a staff equipped with Rennala's Full Moon which is one of the best spells in the game, it's like a homing nuke, it fucking blasts, but it takes a couple seconds of wind-up to cast where you're vulnerable to attack. I thought I was clear, I wound up, and suddenly the boss turns to attack me, and Guardian dude jumped in front of me, weapon raised to block, trying to draw aggro away from me. That's a good fucking Guardian. And we won cause I blasted that thing into fucking oblivion. Oddly enough, probably the worst players I see are Ironeyes. They just die constantly. I think most people want the ranged character because they think he's a safer option, but let me tell you... Ironeye draws aggro like no other, enemies for whatever reason just flock to him. Which works for me because while they're busy trying to kill him, I can get some good backstabbing in. But the range really doesn't keep you safe when something can jump an entire arena to land on your ass.

Nightreign really brings out the hate in some people xD
Like dude... if a game makes you angry enough to message strangers telling them off, you should probably get out more, get more fulfillment in your life. So what happened was we were about to fight the second day night boss, and my wifi went out so I got disconnected, and forced out of the game. And I get it, A LOT of people leave games, it's honestly an epidemic in the community people leaving for stupid-ass reasons like rushing in, and dying within two minutes, lots of people do this, and it's like... you can recover from dying at level 2, leaving over that is ridiculous, but it happens a lot. I had three games in a row today with leavers, and when one person leaves usually the second person also leaves, and suddenly you're in a world alone that's built for three. So I feel that frustration. But also, sometimes people just get fucking disconnected. To be honest, I wasn't feeling this team, they were very pushy. It's generally the best idea to stick together because you accomplish more, faster together. However. Sometimes your group is headed one way while you want to go another. This is often times the case with me because I want to hit up mage towers because you're likely to find really good staffs in mage towers, possibly even the Royal Carian Scepter which is legendary so if I see a tower that I can reasonably get to without taking too long, I might break off from the team to check it out. I will find you afterward. But this team I was on, the pinging... You can't directly communicate in Nightreign with each other, but you can place markers down to alert your team of where you are/are going/want to go. These fucking people... You don't need to ping something 50 times, I can see you're fighting a mini-boss, I can see you're dying, and need help, but ya know... you saw where I was going, and you chose to tackle that thing with only two. Frantically pinging where you are isn't going to move my ass any faster especially when the rain is enclosing, and the thing you're fighting is only half dead. That's one thing I've learned the hard way multiple times... you get greedy, you'll get punished. I hope the reward from killing that thing is worth either losing a level from dying or making it to the boss with zero healing because you had to run through the rain. I've been in this scenario enough times to know, sometimes you just have to let it go because you tell yourself you have time, you can make it, but then you're a liability if you do because suddenly you're at big boss less than everyone else. And I'm certainly not running my ass into the rain to help you, you can ping all you like. You're under no obligation to stay with the pack, something people tend to forget, like... you can absolutely do whatever YOU want. Sure, I like when someone takes charge of the group, and tells us where to go. But if I wanna go get myself a staff especially after YOU took every single one in the only place we fought where there were any, I'm gonna do it cause it'll help us win. There are certain encampments where there are guaranteed to drop 2-3 staffs. I watched this fucker take all three that dropped. And it happens all the time, and it happens with people who don't even use magic on their characters. So yeah, if you're that asshole then yes, I'm going t9 take off to find what I need. If you can't take care of yourself for five minutes in this game without two other people right fucking there babysitting you then maybe it's not the game for you. I enjoy playing with other people, but do I fucking need you? No I fucking don't. I can go off by myself, and be just fine. I blame Elden Ring, much as I love it, it's given people this warped perception that they're really good at gaming because they've beaten it... And Elden Ring is probably the easiest of the Souls games, and the boss fights in it usually only last a couple minutes. Nightreign is more of an endurance test, bosses take longer to kill, learn to fucking dodge for the love of everything. When we're less than 2 minutes in, boss isn't even at half health, and both my teammates need a full three bar revive... may as well just give up. Just spent an hour getting overpowered just to watch you literally take every fucking hit on the final boss. Understandably, Duchess is very good at dodging, but I've watched this with other Duchess players too, being entirely too aggressive, trying to force offense with no defense, and suddenly everyone is dead. About 90% of the time I die it's because I'm trying to pick someone else back up. And Raider bro... If I die picking you up, you don't have to return the favor, just go kill the damn thing. This is what I deal with every day xD But I would never message someone to bitch them out. Sorry you lost cause I wasn't there~

The Nameless King is an ASSHOLE.

My team was dead... three bars dead, dead. At that point, there's no way I can revive them. It's either go at him with all I've got to get the last several hits in or... just give up and die, and lose the whole round for everyone. Completely out of healing, completely out of mana, gotta get real cozy with the fucker. I find myself in this position quite often. It seems like... people don't understand that a core aspect of Souls games is git gud at dodging. That or learn to block which equally I never people do. It's like they expect to just tank the hits, and endlessly be revived. The problem is that you have to hit people to revive them, and the harder you hit, the faster they revive. Not super effective with daggers so trying to get someone up from three when you're taking all the aggro, good fucking luck. The Revenant has an instant revive, but oh wait, she was dead too. Everyone on my teams are always dead💀

I don't need to speak Portuguese to know what OP means xD
Recognize~
I'm noticing that my better rounds tend to be when I have a good staff. There are places you're more likely to find staffs, the problem is that your team might not be headed in that direction. Do you stick with your team or go off on your own in search of better equipment? I do tend to stick close to the team, but if there's a tower close by... I'll wander over there. The towers are basically free loot, but you have to unlock them... and there are about 15 different ways they can possibly be unlocked so you have to remember, and figure out which one it is which is usually quick, but occasionally takes more time than it's worth. Duchess with sorcery though... I wish other Duchess mains would consider it.

Libra, Creature of Night, down~
On only the second try which is surprising because a lot of people claim Libra is the hardest boss. I would say it's probably the most chaotic, and to be fair I had really good teams for both attempts. AND I had a couple really good staffs so I'm convinced we would've won the first time if Raider bro hadn't taken them. But maybe not. When you find a staff in Nightreign it comes loaded with a couple spells, you don't get to pick which ones. So maybe you get something really good like Comet Azure or Rancorcall or Ranni's Dark Moon. But you might also end up with Carian Slicer or Glintstone Pebble. I think the game knew it owed me because I kept getting rewarded all the higher level super staffs on the winning run against Libra. I've never done magic build in Souls games so it's kinda fun mixing it up. Not sure how I'm ever going to be able to go back to the slow paced games xD I love them, but playing Duchess who dodges so fucking fast... I want that in the other games.

Imagine paying for a game, and the entire premise of the game is it's difficulty... and you cheat.

If I end up in a game with someone who's one-shotting bosses, and I'm showing up just to watch you insta-kill everything... I'm leaving. That's definitely a justified reason to leave. What's my reaction supposed to be? Am I supposed to be impressed, in awe that you are obviously so terrible at this game that you have to hella boost your damage, and give yourself zero consequence for dying? Like, how much were you dying xD And that's the point of these games, it's 2025, you know you're paying FromSoftware to kick your ass.
Fought Libra for the first time. Libra is a demon... And like most demons, wants to make a deal. So when you enter their boss arena you actually walk up, and talk to them. And they make you an offer. They'll give you a Stat buff, a powerful weapon, more levels, you get to choose one, but they're gonna take something from you for it. I chose an increase to my dexterity, and they took like half of my mana. But that wasn't a problem because I hadn't been using mana that run because I couldn't get my hands on a staff because every staff we came across, the fucking Raider of the group swiped. Didn't see him use them the entire run either so it's like... why? I've also never played with another Duchess who utilized sorcery. She scales A in Intelligence and B in Faith, she's built for using magic and incantations, but I don't ever see anyone using her for them except myself. But this particular run I never got the chance to get a staff. We almost won it, and maybe that would've made a difference had I been able to play my character to her full capabilities. Sure, you can use any weapon as any character, you can be a magic-wielding big boy if you really want... but picking stuff up just to not use it, it's frustrating. Had a good win against Sentient Pest though, getting better at them.

Will you be my leader🥺
Guardian is the only character left I haven't seen anyone play well. Which is a shame because he's supposed to be the tank, but also the healer. Basically, the protector of the group. And I've seen many people talk like they take the position seriously, but I haven't personally been in a group with anyone who played it well... I'm always the one rushing over to revive people, even at the cost of me dying. I understand people who leave to a degree. Sometimes a group just doesn't vibe, it's a struggle to get to where you need to, to accomplish your goals, and you know you won't be able to make it. Usually, in my experience, this happens when no one is willing to take lead. When no one takes lead, people tend to scatter. I'm guilty of this myself, if no one marks where to go on the map, and I feel like I've stood around for too long, I'll take off to whatever's closest just to get anything done, to get any equipment or levels I can. You don't have time to not constantly be moving, you gotta go as soon as you drop, and some people are a lot better at navigating the map than others. I know where to go, I know what to do, I know how to procedurally get a team in decent fighting condition, but... I still prefer not to be in charge. I actually got my first win taking lead tonight, and I got pretty screwed because one of the big things is going Castle basement by Day 2 unless the Bell Bearing Hunter is there, you don't fight Bell Bearing Hunter at the Castle, it's an unspoken rule, if you see him standing there, you run away xD So I felt... not being able to get that would put us behind, but we did manage to get to level 10, and pulled off the win. In the situation where you can't efficiently do Castle, I just try to hit as many encampments as possible. Sure, you'll get more XP from Castle, but anything is better than nothing. That's the pressure of leading though, trying to get everyone as prepared as possible, and if you lose it's pretty much your fault for not pathing better. I didn't get to play with the guys tonight since I was busy, and didn't actually get to play til around 11. Which is fine since they're way ahead of me anyway, and I don't mind hopping on with randoms. If this is any indication how their proper multi-player release, Duskbloods, is going to be... I might need a Switch 2 xD

With the help of a friend... I finally beat Sentient Pest~
He told me when the game first came out that he, and another friend of his were looking for a 3rd. At the time, I declined because I wanted to get to know the game better. Which I guess is silly since it had just come out, and everyone was learning it. So he asked me again tonight, and they're already on the final boss, and I'm over here like... can't even get past the third one xD Look, every team I've been on for Sentient Pest has been garbage. Like... you should know what you're doing at that point, but the way some people play it's like their first time. The friend I played with tonight said Elden Ring is the only Souls game he's played. He's big into Call of Duty so I'm like... why are we friends xD Actually I met him on Fallout. He had taken a bunch of the free stuff I had in my vendor, and hunted me down to thank me, and we've been friend's ever since. So it's nice he's into Souls games too. I told him before we started, I'm not very good at these games, I've been told I suck so I hope you guys are good.
His response was, "Look, we're all you got, so..."
True xD And ya know. They're very chill so I don't mind playing with them over voicechat. There was no screaming or crying or anything, it actually went very well. A lot of people want them to add general voicechat to the game, but... Souls games tend to evoke intense emotions via victory or defeat. A lot of people are big fucking babies who blame it on everyone else when they lose. And I'm sad to say that guy telling me I'm bad at Nightreign almost got into my head, almost made me feel like people are let down who end up on a team with me. But it's not true. And even if it was, it's a goddamn game, get over it. There are constantly people complaining that they have limited time to play, and putting 30 minutes into a session just to have someone leave or be really bad is super annoying. So find people to play with, there are groups on Reddit and Discord full of people who will jump to help you. I don't mind playing with randoms, finding a way to overcome the lack of communication is challenging, but also part of the fun.

He gifted me Rivers of Blood🥺
That's as good as a marriage proposal in my book xD Hope he knows we're engaged now~
See, that's how it's supposed to work. Sometimes you get equipment you can't use which you should pass on if there's someone on your team who can utilize it. He was a Raider which is basically a big-ass barbarian dude, not someone who typically wants to wield a katana. I was on a team with two Raiders actually so makes sense to give the Dex/Arcane build one of the best Dex/Arcane weapons in the game if you get your hands on it. I know I said I wasn't impressed with Raiders so far, but those two changed my mind, and that's the difference knowing your character makes. Like, I get the frustration when you end up on a team with people who suck. That's the great thing about me, sometimes I feel like the most experienced player, and sometimes there are people who make me feel like the weakest like Raider bros. They drug my ass across that map. But honestly that's what I prefer, someone who knows where they wanna go, and leads the way. I had one of the worst rounds ever before that with two magic characters... they were so bad, it felt like it was their first time playing, and I know it wasn't because we were trying for the third Night Lord. I have no idea how they've gotten that far, but go back, and fucking practice. The worst part of getting to the third Night Lord is the possibility of being forced into a fight with the Draconic Tree Sentinel. I hate it so much. It ends so many runs. I had the perfect fire incantations to fight that big stupid big when we got demolished by big stupid horse guy. I literally had the Frenzied Flame in my hand, and we perished because big stupid horse guy is resistant to fire.
I did get Duchess her new outfit though.

It is a proud day... I got my first hate message~

From someone who's probably like 13 years old. From someone playing Ironeye which is described as Nightreign easy mode. And my message speaks for itself. I dunno what fantasyland motherfucker is living in, but...

The second one? The one that's almost dead? Yeah, that's the one that was on my ass. It only wasn't dead because I stopped to try, and revive this dumbass who then felt it necessary to attempt to insult me. I dunno how pathetic, and empty your life has to be to go out of your way to message someone how bad they are at a game YOU ALSO LOST IN. Like, if you're so fucking good, why didn't you just carry us, "bruh"? Someone with your obvious immaculate skills should've been able to finish the fight on his own. Right? But you were dead... so...
So I'm noticing this unfortunate trend in Nightreign... where more experienced players tend to ditch games ALL the fucking time. And I know they're more experienced because it's always the ones with the special outfits that you have to grind out 34,000 in-game money for or have beaten the game for. Almost every time one of these assholes loads in they either immediately die, and leave the game or we get to a certain point where they've leas us into a ridiculously difficult situation, and then they leave when we get our asses handed to us. I dunno, they probably think because they've beaten the game that they can carry... and I haven't met a single player yet who was god-level can carry an entire three person team. Everyone's talking about how amazing the Raider is, and I've never been with a Raider who was a beast, just saying. And it's ALWAYS the first night lord that you run into these idiots at which is a shame because imagine playing the game for the first time, and your experience is that one of your team members straight up abandoned you five minutes into the game which is usually then followed by the other team member leaving. That's one reason I repeat the first night lord because I like to practice, but also if you're new, I got your back, I won't leave you, fuck those traitor bitches. We will probably lose, but... we'll lose together xD And even when you lose you still get rewarded with money and relics so it's worth it to keep going especially if you're saving up for those expensive-ass outfits.
It's funny because all the time I've spent in Fallout, no body has ever messaged me with toxicity. And I get that Souls games are intense, but you take the fun out of it by expecting perfection every round. Like if I've got the Black Knife, done deal. But sometimes I get to the final boss, and realize I'm still using the starter dagger. Whoops. It happens. Sometimes you just don't get good rolls on perks and equipment. And if you go into a game with random people expecting every team you're on to be OP, you're fucking dumb cause most people aren't that good at these games. I like to think I'm a little better than average, but I'm not the colosseum elite or anything. And even if I was, shitty rolls are still shitty rolls. I dunno, I just don't understand getting mad at a game. Like people who scream, and cry, and throw things when they lose... Big deal. Go again. Immediately after this loss I went on to win with two Revenants which I never thought would happen cause... Revenant's have summons who do good damage, sure, but they fade out quick so not having a heavy hitter was worrisome to me. But having two Revenants who knew what they were doing with their character, we pulled it off. Knowing your character well makes a big difference, but people nerd time, and practice to learn, and sometimes you get lumped up with the learners. You can be a bitch, and leave or you can take charge, and help them. It helps immensely when someone in the group is willing to take lead. I just don't want it to be me xD Point me in the direction you want, and I'll go kill, that's my preferred role. Had another really good win against Gaping Maw with a Wylder and Revenant who both proceeded to do this after...

The kind of weirdness I can appreciate xD

The impossible choice...
The Black Knife Assassin's Black Knife or Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear. Normally I'm not a spear girl, but this particular spear is one of those most OP weapons in the game especially if you scale high in Arcane, and no body scales higher in Arcane than Duchess. It has an incantation that does insane bleed damage. The problem is that it's a fairly large weapon, and it's slow to cast. That's my main issue with magic in general, it's too fucking slow. They're both really good weapons, but the Black Knife is better suited for me, and lead to victory. Oddly enough I ended up beating the fourth night lord before the third. While you're fighting your way to the third, the fourth invades the world for a short period of time. I honestly didn't think we'd beat it, but I had two archer boys with me which is good since it's a very floaty, flying boss, and they really knocked that thing on it's ass while I sprinted around trying to jump attack it til it's head waa low enough to hit xD You really, really want a bow for the third boss, but I just could not find one, and ultimately we lost after getting it down about 2/3. I've only fought it twice so I'm still learning it's moveset. It starts out as two big bugs, and eventually comes together as one big bug that blasts your ass with magic. Fire is recommended. The higher the boss, the further you get, the more money you get, and I'm saving up to get my Duchess a new outfit~

Second Night Lord down~
I feel like I work better with ranged characters. The big tanky boys... they tend to rush in like they're invincible, and end up down a lot. Yes, it is your job to do the most damage, but it doesn't help anything if I have to revive you constantly. I guess Revenant isn't really a ranged character... Sure, they're the summoner character, but I don't think I've ever seen one using magic, usually they go full in with their claws. I would assume summoning uses up their mana so that's probably why. After beating this boss you gain access to the wardrobe which lets you purchase outfits for characters for in-game currency. And I saw her wearing it...

The Black Leather Armor🖤
It's the armor set I always wear in Dark Souls. The Dark Wraith set is pretty cool too, but... nostalgia. Duchess is like literally my Dark Souls character, it's like they made her just for me~

Many rounds of Nightreign today. Not a single win. I feel like I got grouped with a lot of newer players cause... most of these rounds had absolutely zero coordination, and when I tried, I was ignored. And that's fine, you can totally go off on your own, and do your own thing. It just doesn't make sense why you'd play with other people if that's what you wanna do. When your go solo, the game is scaled for one person. When you load in multi-player, it scales in difficultly for three people so it greatly benefits you to stick together, work together. I don't blame newer players for not knowing. My first online game I immediately ran away from everyone and died. That's a pretty common occurrence when you separate. And you can almost always tell when a player is new because they NEVER use their special abilities. Which I get, they're not very clear on what they do, and the buttons for activating them are annoying, and because it's not in the base game you tend to forget they exist. The new mechanics take some getting used to so I don't take it personally when people aren't immediately great, and you end up losing. It's ok to lose. I had a heartbreaking loss today. Almost had the second boss beat, it was only a couple hits away, and we lost it. It happens. Also got trolled for the first time. Loaded in, and one of my teammates immediately booked it for an Evergaol, opened it, and left the game. Evergaols have some of the toughest enemies so going at one at level one is pretty much suicide. Or in this case, someone trolling. I'm not really sure what the point is though. Ok, you opened it, but... doesn't mean we have to fight it. There are other harder things to fight wandering out in the world, it's not like you released something that's going to chase us across the world. It's just gonna sit there. It's just meaningless. Are you that bored with the game, and you have nothing better in your life to do than hop from team to team, giggling as you immediately open these things, then run away? I seriously don't get it xD The only thing I can guess is maybe he was RPing Patches. The only reason this crossed my mind is because he was wearing Siegmeyer's/Siegward's armor, and in Dark Souls 3 Patches steals this armor, and attempts to trick the player while wearing it because Patches is a notorious trickster in most Souls games. If that's what you do with your time... Well ok then. Kinda pathetic. But I've made it pretty far as a duo in several attempts. I'm getting the hang of using more caster abilities as Duchess, especially when there's not already a dedicated mage in out party. The problem is usually finding a staff, they're not as common as other weapons so I make sure I always have a bow just in case I need the range which comes in handy as I often times find myself luring enemies away from my teammates so they can heal or ressurect each other. Or if there are multiple bosses in a fight, trying to keep at least one busy. Like in the fight with the Tree Sentinel, and his two cavalry. The cavalry guys are easier to kill, but if you've got big boy Tree Sentinel also persistently
on your ass, it's a lot harder. So I usually take his attention, and keep him busy, chip his health down a bit, while my teammates kill the two easier guys. Then we all take on the big guy. It works really well. Or if I notice that my teammates are low on health, and not healing, they're probably out of flasks so I'll drop a healing stone down, and try to keep the boss away from them while they stand on it and heal. These are things that Duchess does well. She's not tanky, and she doesn't do collosal damage, she has other skills. Like her super, becoming invisible, extremely useful when both your teammates are down, and it's up to you to get them back up. To get people back up in Nightreign you have to attack them. I know, it doesn't make sense, and the more damage you do, the faster you can get someone up. Duchess doesn't do great damage so being able to become invisible, and use those precious seconds not being attacked to slowly bring your people back to life, it helps a lot. I've noticed that people are garbage at dodging. One of the most common characters I see played is Ironeye, and his special ability is a dodge move that completely takes him out of danger, and I almost never see it used by the people playing him. Again, new players, I get it, they're learning. But if you're on the second boss using Ironeye, and still not using his special.... go practice alone. You're weighing us down having to constantly resurrect you. It's ALWAYS Ironeye, and he's easily the easiest character to play, just stand back, shoot bow. Go to the poison area, and get a poison bow. Easy win. If you want help getting it, ping it on the map, I will show up. That's one thing that annoys me, when no one in the team wants to take charge. The runs that go really well always have someone deciding where we go. Sure, I know what's where at this point, but I prefer someone else choosing our course. You look for churches before you land, you figure out the closest one, and work your way towards it through any large cathedrals or encampments along the way. Then you do the Castle day 2. That's pretty much how most efficient people do things. All day today people just wanted to scatter, and we lost every time.

When you barely beat the boss, and your teammate excitedly runs over to celebrate with you❤️
Ok, so I'm fully addicted to Nightreign xD
Just one more round.
Just one more.
Nah, just one more.
Ok, seriously, one more.
I've learned a lot today playing all online matches. Lots of losses. Mostly losses honestly. It's not even really a skill issue, sometimes you just don't get good equipment. Sometimes you let someone be in charge who makes bad choices. And sometimes you just end up with shitty teammates, the worst of which get mad, and leave about five minutes in if you don't immediately do what they want. Ya know, sometimes I see the group I'm in, and I want to leave, like if I'm put with two squishy spellcasters. But I don't. I see every match through even when I'm 100% sure it's a loss. The game does warn you there are penalties for abandoning your team. I'm not sure what those are, but I wouldn't leave anyway cause it's fucking rude. If you wanna be a try-hard little bitch that gives up just because shit looks hard, and you might not get an instant win, go play alone, you belong alone. You shouldn't load up with rabdoms, and expect them to be completely cracked. I certainly can't carry anyone's ass, Duchess just isn't that character. Although I did learn that you don't need a big tanky boy to win cause I got grouped with a Revenant(mage), and an Ironeye(archer), which are both mostly ranged characters. I didn't like our odds because none of us do a ton of damage, and with them both preferring to be at a distance, that left me to kinda tank things up close... And Duchess is pretty squishy herself xD So it was interesting, somehow we did it. But I had a decent poison weapon. Poison comes in really handy. It's not instant gratification, but it will get the job done if you can hold out. It also helps to always have a bow because if nothing else, if you've got no healing left and your team is on it's last legs, take out a bow, and chip it down. As long as you're good at dodging when it comes at you, you'll be fine. Still haven't beaten the second boss, but I switch between the first, and second after each match just to keep things interesting.
I actually haven't been on 76 in a couple days. But that doesn't really bother me since there's nothing happening there right now anyway, and this latest season is all about fishing which doesn't interest me at all. And ya know... Often times in 76 it feels like you're playing against everyone even when you're working towards a common goal, everyone really only cares about themselves. In Nightreign it's work together or die. People who run off by themselves end up killing the whole team. Most people understand that. And it's nice playing with people who love Souls games as much as I do~

I wanted to prove to myself that I can main Duchess by soloing Gladius with her...

So I did~
Because Ironeye is easy, anyone can use him. As long as you keep your distance, pick your moment, easy kill. Duchess requires more care, especially with her special ability. It is insanely powerful if used correctly. What it does when you activate it is repeat the last bit of damage you've done to an enemy. So... if you get a REALLY good critical hit that takes off a large chunk of damage, you can instantly double it. But you have to activate it immediately after. That's the tricky part, watching your damage, and remembering to double down at the right time such as after giving something major bleed damage. It also recharges pretty quickly so even if you miss one opportunity you'll make it up. Bleed is important, but RNG will make or break you. In this particular run I almost immediately found a god-tier bleed weapon.

And it fucking carried my ass. Of course, if you run into an enemy that doesn't bleed, that's a problem xD We run away from those. Although, it did fare well against a large Iron Golem boss that has lava for blood... So I'm wondering if that counts. I absolutely love her as a character though. Like I said, she feels like she's straight-up out of Bloodborne which is much faster paced. Much as I love Dark Souls, it is much slower, and Elden Ring is kinda in-between. I'd still like to practice a bit more with her before I go back to multi-player. I don't necessarily think I'm the weakest player, but... I know I could do better. I'm just not used to the team dynamic. It's easy when it's just me relying on myself. If I fail, I'm only letting myself down. I don't want to let my team down. So far I haven't been on a team with anyone who was better than me. But I'm content to follow where everyone else wants to go. Usually one person kinda takes charge, and decides. This can go very badly... Like one team I was on the gut lead us straight to a Draconic Tree Sentinel that killed all of us in one hit. And personally I would've abandoned that boss because there are easier bosses with just as good rewards, but my team wouldn't give up so many deaths, and an entire day wasted we eventually bear it. But that was literally all we got to do that day when ideally you wanna hit a few different places, a fee different mini bosses. That's just part of being on a team though. It's better to stick together to take things down easier, but it could also benefit you to strike out on your own. Most of the encampments around the map show where specific weapons, and status effects are. So if I'm looking for an OP dagger, but my team is going nowhere near the dagger encampment, it might be better for me to temporarily branch off to hunt down what I need. But you'll also get a variety of daggers, if using Duchess anyway, just from beating mini bosses. So you don't necessarily need to go out of your way. Duchess is an interesting character. She's not a tank or a healer, she doesn't offer much in terms of damage or support to her team members, but... she's very fast, and stabby, and I love her for that~

Yep, Duchess is the one. I know I've said that twice now xD But she's basically a Bloodborne character, she's meant to be super fast, she even has her own dodging animations. The problem I have with her is that she is meant to also use magic, and I tend to forget that so I end up final boss with a tiny dagger xD But I made it so my starting dagger always has poison. So. Kinda makes up for not doing tremendous physical damage. You don't have to use a characters preferred weapon so I'm gonna test her out with a scythe, and a katana. The issue with not using their preferred weapon is that when you get higher level weapon drops from beating bosses, it's always their preferred style. Trust me, you want the higher level weapons going into the final boss. The basement in the main castle always has a boss that rewards you with a level 7 weapon, and it's not a super tough fight especially on a team.
After you beat the first proper boss it opens up a lot more to the game. Several more bosses, new characters, but also random world events called Shifting Earth. What happened was a big fucking hole opened up in the middle of the map, full of lava, and terrible enemies. If you can beat the big bosd down there you get some legendary equipment. I was trying to fly across said hole when the gentle bird that was carrying me decided to drop me right on top of said boss who proceeded to immediately kill me in one hit. So that wasn't happening. That was on my attempt to go after the second night boss, but I ran into a familiar face.

Or... faces. Because everyone just loves a two-faced giant laser spider. I will admit it is kinda cool to see the Dark Souls bosses. I didn't know how I'd feel about it... but I think I'm ok with it given the context of the game. Very tedious fight though. Like the original, she only has one face showing at a time, and you can only damage her by hitting her face, and it's a bit difficult to target her when there are ten billion little spiders around her that never seem to thin out no matter how many you kill. I did play a couple online matches after though, redoing the first bosd. And yeah, multi-player is definitely harder because we got stomped every time on the third night. Like couldn't even get half way on both teams which oddly enough both had the same setup, Duchess/Executor/Revenant. I haven't unlocked the Revenant yet, she's some kinda summoner. Seems pretty powerful, but apparently this is a bad combo for final boss. Again, I don't feel like I'm using Duchess properly. Her special ability lets you do basically double damage, and her super turns her invisible for a short time, and I just completely forget they both exist. So part of losing is definitely my fault for not using my character effectively. I'm also too nice when it comes to loot. If you open a chest in game, it's accessible for anyone to take what's inside, and most people will just grab up everything as soon as it drops. I open shit up, and let everyone else take what they want, and I'll take what's left. So I end up being a bit under-equipped. But if someone else needs something then I'd rather they have it. When you kill a boss though you do get your own stuff so I'm not entirely unprepared. I'm just not the type to grab everything like a selfish asshole especially if it's something I'm not even going to use. That's what kinda sucks about the inventory... You get six weapons slots, and every weapon in game has a passive ability like buffing your HP or giving you extra damage etc, and these passive effects apply to you just from having something in your inventory so it generally greatly benefits you to have six weapons on you even if you'll never use most of them, and that's why people get grabhy because you might get something with a really good passive. It's not a huge problem cause you come across plenty of chests around the world for everyone to get full items, it's my own dumbassery if I don't by the final boss. I do see why they made Nightreign to be played as trios instead of duos. It helps a lot when one person goes down if one of you lures the thing away while the other brings them back. That's usually me, the bait xD I actually enjoy that bit. It's an interesting dynamic, three people with almost no way to communicate coming together to accomplish something. Some people are begging for voice chat to be put in... Yeah, no thank you, I don't need any idiots telling me how bad I am or how wrong I'm doing things. I think it's better to overcome communication without speech. We have gestures, it's fine. But yeah, I'm really enjoying Nightreign. Wasn't sure I would, and yeah it's not what I expected, but I approve.

I did it...

I soloed Gladius❤️
When I first fought this three-headed wolf I thought... no way can I do this by myself. I tend to have that attitude a lot when first facing something, no fucking way xD But with every loss you learn, and eventually you get there. I did beat him with Ironeye. The problem with Executor, much as I love that they're a bleed katana dex build, they're also a parry character, their special attack is meant for parrying, and I refuse to parry so... But now we've gained access to...

Duchess. Who immediately reminds me of Lady Maria from Bloodborne. But. A pretty blonde virtuous thief with high dexterity, and high intelligence... Yeah, that's me xD Well, I do wish her dex scaling was higher than a B. I'm not big on using magic so using sorceries will be a little bit of a learning curve, but it's similar to using a bow so I think I can handle it. It'll definitely be necessary is she mains a dagger since daggers have zero range. Dual-wielding seems to be almost necessary in Nightreign because you want to have your characters main best weapon on hand, but it's also nice to have either a magic or a bow off-hand for range. Bows are especially useful because you have unlimited arrows, that's one thing that makes Ironeye so good, and his abilities just kick ass. But I'm excited to try Duchess~

So... I decided to try out the multi-player in Nightreign. Because I wanted to see if it's really much different than going solo. And... it's interesting. The main difference is that bosses have more HP, and that makes sense if you've got more people taking them on. In Nightreign you're grouped into a trio, but I guess our third wasn't impressed with me, and the other guy on our team cause they fucking ditched us about five minutes in. Excuse me for not being OP or knowing the fucking etiquette. Like, are you supposed to stay together or do your own thing? Who decides where to go? If you're the kinda person who is 100% serious, and needs to win at all costs, needs everyone to be the fucking best... Please leave my team cause I wanna have fun, not stress over your ass. The other guy stayed with me though, and we did get to night three where we were pummeled xD But hey, I'm learning. Overall I don't feel like I'm much better off on a team as far as my character, somehow I ended up leveled up even less than I normally am. It's nice having another person there to take the aggro, and it's fun playing with someone else. But it also makes me feel more panicked xD Like... playing with other people means people relying on you, and worse, you having to rely on other people. I don't do well relying on anyone, I have the general attitude of if I can't do it myself then I shouldn't. So maybe Nightreign will help me grow. As long as I'm not the worst person on the team, I'm good xD Like I know I'm not the worst Souls player, but some people are SO much better. Those people also play like 24/7 though. And I have a life~
I would say the guy I played with tonight was pretty on par with my own skill level. He was playing Ironeye which is an easier character because you've got distance, and a really good dodge ability, and a really good super. Executor's super is the whole wolf/bear thing which is pretty good against most things, but his special ability... I don't really understand it. It doesn't necessarily look like it really does anything... So I feel like I'm doing it wrong xD Apparently using his special makes him tanky. I'll have to play around with that. One of the main things about playing with other people is that I'm constantly worried about whether I'm doing enough, helping enough, being aggressive enough, and that then leads me into being more aggressive to get more damage. I also have the major urge to protect my teammates so when the aggro is on them I tend to throw myself at the boss to get it off them. So having a tank mode could be useful... Executor also scales S in arcane so I need to be on the lookout for status ailment weaponry. It's so much to think about in such a small amount of time xD
So would I say that Nightreign is easier multi-player? Not really, for me personally, no. Because it adds all this mental shit that when I'm by myself I don't have to think about. By myself I only have to worry about me, my own shit, what I'm doing, and keeping myself alive. But like I said, it's fun playing with other people so I'll probably do more of it once I fully figure my character out. I haven't even tried all the characters yet. I'm not into strength or magic so... I don't feel particularly compelled to try the others. There is another female character I know you unlock after you beat the first night lord, and I know she's a Dex focused character, and she's petite and blonde so... if I can get her, she may be the one~

Now I know I said Ironeye is my guy...

But Executor is far closer to my playstyle. They're fast, scale S in Dex and Arcane, and they start with a katana. They're the bleed build, and that's home for me. And his special attack is turning into a big-ass... wolf bear? Much as I like Ironeye, and can consistently get to night 3 with him, I'm not much of a bow user in Souls games, generally only pulling one out against things I want to keep a wide distance from. Playing Executor is like playing my 260 level character. Obviously not as OP, but very, very comfortable for me. I'm finding that with him I can take down three or four area bosses in day 1 whereas with Ironeye I'm lucky to do one. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing it wrong cause people are like, "You should be level 10 by night 2." How?! There's just no time xD I can get to 6, maybe, but... I'm still learning, I haven't put a huge amount of time into it. Usually I'll do a couple runs a day then drift off to Fallout which started season 21 yesterday, and... I'm not happy. Because the entire season is about fishing which I could not care any less about... But they also fucked with the perk cards again, and now the AP usage for my gun costs 6 instead of 3. Doesn't sound like a huge difference, but it's very noticeable when you've player 3000 hours with an AP of 3, and now it's doubled so your AP is running out twice as fast, and you can no longer shoot endlessly like before. Like, I get trying to balance the game, but ya know... I'm still seeing Gatling Plasma users running around destroying things instantly. And they've done absolutely nothing to balance that. Literally every season they change shit, shit that's worked fine for years, meanwhile the busted stuff, nah, not worried about that. It's very Bethesda.

Fuck Ranni. This is my waifu.

Finding her out in the wild, so satisfying~
Not being high enough level, and therefore unfit, and unworthy to wield her... crushing💀

I miss my level 260. I miss her so much xD

Even if you hate it... it's still fudking gorgeous~
I've always been intrigued by how much larger the moon is compared to the sun. The moon has a very large overall presence in the Land's Between, specifically through the Carian royal family, and it's speculated that the moon is it's own Outer God. The sun though... So small, you don't really see it most of the time, and it's even dimmer in the main game with the huge glowing Erdtree constantly in view. You find a shield in Farum Azula with a description which mentions a "Sun Realm," but where was it, and happened to it? Farum Azula was once down on the ground connected go the rest of the land, something lifted it into the air to be relentlessly eaten away at by cyclones. Farum Azula is full of beasts, dragons, and it's where you find the sleeping Dragonlord, locked away in time. The Dragonlord was once Elden Lord... And that's odd to me because Godfrey was the first Elden Lord so between him, and Radagon, Marika took the Dragonlord as Elden Lord. We know that the ancient dragons, and humans were once on good terms then suddenly broke out into a war. If Marika was the one who locked their king away, that would explain why they got so pissed off at her. The problem with all the lore is we don't have a scope of time. How long ago things happened, who knows. Could be thousands, and thousands of years because apparently... that's how long it takes the Two Fingers to hear from the Greater Will. It was always my opinion that by the time the Tarnished shows up in world, the Greater Will is gone, long gone. But then who's punishing Marika? Or is it even punishment? Maybe she's strung up in the Erdtree because it's the only thing keeping her alive. There are so many different ways you could interpret what's happening, there's so little solid evidence for so much of it, that's one reason why them making an Elden Ring movie... That's fine, but like, the story is not the same for everyone so how do you make it a story for everyone? I think it's going to piss a lot of people off, much like Nightreign has done. If you're going to play Nightreign, and enjoy it, you need to disconnect it from Elden Ring to a degree. Because yes, you're still in the Land's Between, one of the first things you see in game is a status of Marika, it's the same world, but it's not the same game. It's not the story if the Tarnished, we're done with that in Nightreign. In fact, the Tarnished never existed in it's sorta dimension, the Shattering happened, and boom, Nightlord invaded. But that begs the question... if everything else happened similarly up to the Shattering then where are all the demi-gods? And the playable characters, they all seem to be from outside of the Land's Between. Are we talking different worlds or merely separate countries? I'm just imagining one big planet with the Land's Between, Lordran, Yharnam, Boletaria, all in different countries, all having equally horrific things happening all at once. I think that's the head-cannon of most Souls fans xD

We all know I'm an Ironeye girl...
He's our rogue, assassin, dex build. A man after my own heart. And I know I said I enjoy playing around with other builds, and styles, and I do, it's interesting. But I'm most comfortable, and at home in high dexterity. So he's become my favorite, he's the one~
