Dandelions(Taraxacum officinale) are infamous for inhabiting anywhere and everywhere possible(and seemingly impossible) and on every continent...besides Antarctica. They are as disliked as they are widespread, but they are far from useless, negative, and irredeemable. While they are the enemy of those who love their pristine, homogeneous lawns, they are reliable, useful, and bright friends to those who have looked into them a little.
Dandelions are completely edible, nutrient rich(Dandelion greens contain high amounts of vitamins A, C, and K, along with essential minerals like iron and calcium), have many health benefits and medicinal qualities, can be made into a variety of delicious, useful, and healing things, and are beneficial for insects and wildlife.
