If you're a heterosexual, white, christian male in America and you feel like you're being oppressed, then the forces that are oppressing you are oppressing everyone.

Figure out where that force actually comes from and fight against it, not the people who are being oppressed even more than you are. Those people are just trying to survive the oppression they've been dealing with their whole lives that now you're suddenly feeling.

So a white, male, christian nationalist drove from southwestern Alberta to Montreal to rent a hotel room across the street from PornHub's parent company's HQ (MindGeek) and shoot at their offices from his hotel room.

The media seems to be completely ignoring the basic facts of this incident:

1. It always seems to be white male christian nationalists committing the most violence
2. He was raised in a catholic household and went to catholic schools
3. He was raised and lived in Alberta, which is basically Canada's confederate state where the highest population percentage of their MAGA morons live
4. He wrote a manifesto about misogyny, his right to have a woman, the parts of society (including the sex work industry) that denies him his right to have a woman, and that being violent against these institutions and the people in them is warranted.

Right wing christian nationalism and monotheistic religions around the world is a disease; a mental health crisis that sucks in the gullible and desperate, and drives them to committing violence while offering them a self-justified perspective to that violence.

Want a better world? Start there.

The people who laude missionaries who go around the world spreading their religion through force disguised as compassion would never accept social justice efforts aimed at ending their delusional beliefs in a delusional religion. Why on earth should anyone accept their agenda to make everyone their sheep?

When you ask for my help, but then don't tell me specifically what I need to do to help you, I will assume you changed your mind.

I don't know what you're planning on doing, so I'm not just going to show up prepared for absolutely anything you might need. Be communicative, be specific, and have a plan that you can outline to me, and I will tell you how I can support you.

The same co-worker that has misplaced a 27-in monitor that he had to "borrow" for a project 5 months ago and still hasn't found it, and who asked me today if he could have a replacement USB keyboard/mouse receiver because he misplaced his, in the same breath tells me I can trust him with inventory tracking because he's good at keeping track of stuff....

Oh? Oh, ok...

Insanely busy weekends make for pretty slow Monday mornings at work....

There are some people in my life that need to realize I'm not going to make their dreams come true if I'm the only one working toward them.

Ok, making dreams come true might be hyperbole. It's more about the things we all agree on that are goals, and that need to be done.

I can't be a one-man-show in every aspect of life, and have everything done on a timeline that truly keeps everything moving forward. The list grows faster than one person can accomplish the tasks already on it.

This seems to be a recurring theme in life....

Got sent to a production facility today to work on a project that I had no input or involvement with for 2 years, but it's in its final rollout and shit isn't working so that's when everything gets thrown at me.

But since they decided to make me drive around today, I finished my work, and went home to finish my day.

So I'm outta for the weekend.
