I love harvest peach Yoplait yogurt. I'm having a few spoonfuls as my dinner tonight, which reminds me I should take a multivitamin.

Today has been a nice relaxing one. Slept in till 11am, which I haven't done in ages. I suppose that is what happens when you take sleeping pill after midnight though lol

I spent quite a bit of the day watching Seven playing War Of Worldcraft and man is that game addictive. I keep telling Seven to go find a place to kill something. Who knew I was so blood hungry :P

The rest of the day was a montage of watching comedy central, reading up on my favorite news sites, and playing with the little pup.

Now after being awake for 10 hours we're shutting down the house and headed to bed. A short nice relaxing day full of piddling around. More days really should be like this.

Now I understand that when my partner kicks me at night and calls me a cover thief....then innocently claims not to remember- it is because of being soul-less...this explains alot!

I personally think that is a little harsh! I do to have a soul and if Seven doesn't know it, than maybe Seven doesn't know me!

Oh ok...

Maybe Seven knows me too well :/

You know, she does have a wonderful laugh. Her giggle can be different ways: either it is just the sound of joy or you immediately know she is up to no good!

Tiny white little things are falling from the sky. What happened to fall? One day warm, the next I'm freezing my ass off while spinning on the lawn eating ice-cold manna. A kind person has been shoving hot coco laced with mocha Kahlúa down my throat these past two days, and I’m pretty sure it’s the person and not the manna that was sent from G*d.

Breakfast with Maddy

I leave the room for one minute and return to see the dog with my blueberry muffin in her mouth. The nerve of that dog. I had to give her a scolding, but also choke back the laughter. The image of a puppy caught red handed (and she knew it) with a blue berry muffin sticking out of her mouth was quite a sight to behold.

She is a minx lol

My economic rant inspired by Vampirewitch.

It is easy to look back and suggest blame for this entire mess. There is plenty of it to go around to everyone. Should these people have known not to live outside of their means- yes. Should banks have realized that they were lending to people who couldn't afford the mortgage payments when the teaser loans ended- yes. People should have seen the housing bubble bursting years ago.

The way I see it, the government should provide some protections. Just like they regulate the food industry so that we don't all wind up in the hospital dying of food poisoning- so too should they monitor and regulate the financial system that we all used. The lenders and the lendees share the blame- but the only way to have prevented the crisis of mass defaults would be to ensure that there is some oversight.

Now they're just trying to pump money into the markets to bolster the cash flow so more people can lend credit (albeit they've got much harder criteria for getting a load). As it stands it is pretty hard for anyone to get a loan for a house, car, or college due to the credit crunch. You might be able to make the argument that the bar for lending should have always been that high.

The argument is that the lack of action will result in more adverse affect to the market, and Wall Street and Main Street have a very clear connection when it comes to the financial sector.

Not sure if it will work since people are speculating 700billion might not be enough. Who knows how far into the red we will plummet.

It's all just sickening.

*Please note I am by no means a knowledgeable person on the subject matter. CNBC is just always on at the gym lol

But I agree with you. Sorry but when a local bank made some really bad loans the FDIC came down on them. What happen the that system?

I want people to have good lifes, work and pay off loans.... hell- I do it. And now it will take a act of god to get a loan.

That is sad all by itself, must less all the money the taxpayers will be paying out when we are already in debt.
