So far it seems we will be watching 5 shows this season. 2 new ones and 3 second years:
Jerico- Drama about a small town left standing after a massive nuclear attack on the U.S.
Seems pretty good so far, I'm hooked.
Heros- Fantasy/Drama about a group of people from all over the world discovering that they have super powers. Very cool so far.
Criminal Minds- Drama about the Behavorial Analysis Unit (B.A.U.) of the FBI. I really dig this show. I love the cast and am glad to see Garcia is given more screen time and is added to the opening credits.
Ghost Whisper- Drama about a woman who helps 'Earthbound Spirits' 'cross-over'. I cry every time I watch this show, and just love it. We were left with a cliff-hanger last season and all ended well.
Supernatural- A Horror/Drama about two brothers who hunt down and kill monsters. Haven't seen the season primer yet, but, I'm looking forward to it. i got sucked into this last year.
Of course come Jan. we will be adding 24 to the line up.We are also still 'netflixing' some shows we never got the chance to see (Battlestar Galactica, Reno 911, Deadwood, and Rome to name a few.) So our evenings are well planned.
My parents frequient the Riverside Hotle Casino in Laughlin, Nv. and are often comped things. Well, they got two free nights, two free buffets, and two tickets to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. They didn't want them and they know we love BBVD, so they gave them to us! We spent sat. and sun. night. We got to watch cable TV, drink free booze, and play a little (a very little Sabastion is not much of a gambler). We won enough to pay for our drinks at the show Sun. night, and our breakfast mon. morning.
I was so excited to see BBVD. It was amazing. Our seats were 4' from center stage. Each of the band members made eye contact with me at some point. It was just awsome. We had so much fun. It was nice to just get away and do something frivolous. We don't go to Nevada often. I like to play the slots, but as I said, Sabastion doesn't.
Well, we finished painting our interior walls today. They were old 70's style wooden pannels. Over the weekend we plastered, textured, and painted. What a difference. Now that it is a light color the whole place looks bright and clean. It even seems a little bigger. No more living in a cave. This means I will have to clean, dust in particular, more often but, I think it is a fair trade.
I am so bad at this whole journal thing. This is a wonderful feature and a chance to be even more self indulgent. So, why don't I use it more often. Because I am so terribly lazy. Typing a whole paragraph takes way to much thought and effort. I swear I should be ashamed of myself. Actually, I guess I am ashamed of myself, or else I wouldn't go on a long self-castigating rant now would I? Well, again, i will make the promise to try harder.
