Winter isn't one of my favorite times of year. I hate the cold, snow, and the short days, of dead silence. I'm looking forward to spring already. I want to see the leaves coming out, and the blossoms on the Dogwood tree in my backyard, i want to see the first flowers of the season coming up. I want to feel the warmth and see the days getting longer. I want to be able to go out bike riding when the days grow warm, i can't do it this time of year, with the cold weather. It isn't easy for me to get around now, without the benefit of a car. Winter is boring too, once the holidays are over. I'm not really the type to ski or snowboard or even ice skate, and i don't play hockey either. It's the dead season as i see it, quiet, and silent except for a few birds that i hear only once in a great while. Other than that its way too quiet, and it depresses me, in a way. It just is not my favorite season of the year, and there's not much else i can say about it.
