Inner Monologue
Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, Sean McDaniel shut out the screams of the men around him, his mind going on autopilot. Duck, punch, kick, thrust, stab, an inner monologe of instructions drumming in his head like the raps on a drum. He'd sworn when he first enlisted in the marines he wouldn't become his father, a roboticized human being. His father cared for no one, not even his son, and nothing only doing what he was told. He had now become his father. Kick, head butt, duck, stab, stab again. He was numb, his mind on autopilot
