This year marks the ASPCA’s 140th Anniversary, and they are busy planning an amazing celebration. In New York City, many Big Apple buildings will be lighting up orange—the official ASPCA color--on their anniversay, April 10. Other big cities, including Chicago and Los Angeles will be going orange, too.
But the most important party guests of all are those animal lovers like you and me, they wouldn’t be the oldest humane organization in the Western Hemisphere with out our help.
Please join me and the ASPCA in enLIGHTening America by showing your orange colors for animals.
If you go to their website: www.aspca.org - they have ideas, clothes and a bunch of things to help you show support.
It seems that I have a serious hangup with anyone viewing me as a weak; not physically, rather mentally and emotionally..
I have been descrided as someone who can make a man feel less then a man because I dont wait for him to fix something, repair something or move something. I find it much eaiser to just do it myself and get it done.
I dont really show emotions where my heart is concerned with another person... (other then my daughter) I find crying to be the biggest weakness in my life... and there are times when the situation is apporpriate for crying, but I have so long kept myself from this, that I have become a tearless women. I obstain from love mostly... and that is not a bad thing.
However, I can only be moved only by the innocent. Animals and children can break me in a moment.
So, I am wondering.... are there others out there who see themselves this way... or do you have some advise for this heart of stone...
Peace!
