Walking from work to the station I encountered two groups of chavs. The first consisting of Maddie and Amy. I walk as if I didn’t see them. They did as people like that always do when they are going to start something. (Huddle, push one forward, huddle, laugh, face on comer) And said ‘ugh’, Amy said ‘nice lipstick Amy’ I carried on walking. I did not know and one in the second group, shouted ‘Goth’ at me. I got on the train and then left the train and the correct stop and continued on my route. As I turned the corner there was a big group of chavs they did as mentioned before but followed me, kicking at my heels and calves. I was already walking fast to get to my councillors on time and so my extra speed was wasted on them. They stopped following me about half way down the road. I continued to my councillors. After seeing my councillor she gave me a lift to the station as so I didn’t get into another fight. I arrived and enter the station; I sat on a bench, noticing another group of chavs. Two came over and sat on the bench with me. They started the usual questioning and ridiculing of me for being a ‘grundger’ after about a minuet of so of this they asked if they could happy slap me or pull my hair. It was then that I stood up and kicked on sitting on the bench. At that point a woman on the bench said ‘come sit with me, have an ear phone’ I move to her side very swiftly. The Chavs returned to their group. Liz, my new found angel, comforted me as I cried, she told me not to give them what they wanted, gave me a headphone. We listened to incubus while she chatted to me about the arseholes in the world. The chavs returned and sat on the next bench. And so she offered to buy me a cup off tea and we got up to buy one, they followed. I was already shaking half in fear half from the cold, as we went into the café where the chavs didn’t follow. When we left the café the train came and they followed us on, on the train I spotted my mum and we, Liz and I, sat opposite her. They chavs sat behind us, shouting abuse at me throughout their short journey on the train until they were thrown off as they had not tickets. We continued on our journey to Fareham train station where we said our good byes to Liz and returned home.



When I was being tormented at the station there was a group of three rocky looking people who I kept looking over at pleadingly, they just ignored me. If the world was full of people like that and no one like Liz then people like me would get very stuck

Science behind vampires



Would it be actually possible for a vampire to exist? To sustain a creature on blood alone, fiction or possibility?



The only way I think someone could be sustained on blood alone is if the took the blood from the correct place.

Blood carries four components, Plasma, white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. Plasma (the liquid part) carries things like nutrients, urea etc. And so if This Blood was taken with Nutrients in and injected then I believe it maybe possible not to have to eat etc as the nutrients taken in by the blood would not need to be taken in by the water and food.

The blood taken in would have to be the correct blood type also and obviously disease free. The only problem would be Fibre and the getting rid of waste products. This would be because no food would be taken in so there would be no waste products to get rid of. The six characteristics of a living thing include excretion. This could still occur with breathing out Carbon dioxide but the blood would contain oxygen and not carbon dioxide so would the respiratory system be necessary at all? As would the digestive system become in the end useless. Let us remind our selves of the six things necessary for a thing to do that is living.

Is the form of ‘feeding’ was to begin then Excretion would not stop as although we would only take in the necessary things in out chosen blood. We still have waste products from processes such as respiration.



Word equation for respiration:



Oxygen + Glucose --> energy + water + carbon dioxide



We would get the oxygen and glucose from our taken blood.



If we were to try and support this hypothesis with findings we would have to test the theory. This would be best done with two healthy identical twins as they would have the same DNA pattern. One twin would be subjected to the ‘vampire diet’ the other would carry on as usual. Every month we would test the twins against each other and see how the ‘vampire’ twin was reacting to treatment. It is likely that there would be bad symptoms at the start as the body adapts to the change. The twins would ideally be young as then we could see if it affected growth etc. But is this really ethically correct? We would if this was to take place have more than one test on the theory to rule out fluke etc.
