it annoys me to no end....I have no idea why people waste time like this..some chick started a profile and put me down as a referral and I don't even know her..thing is she never finished the profile and has not logged in since..very strange

Sometimes they never bother editing their profile in the first place. If there was nothing written in their profile it won't show up as a user, but they will still be able to do everything on this site, including leave comments/rates and write a journal.
