i was just now putting david down for a nap. we looked out at the snow together and he proceeded to tell me how much he loved the snow. he put his soft little cheek to my face and sang a little song to the snow about how much he loved it and how he wanted to be the snows friend and for it to stay forever. then he rested his head on my shoulder with his hair tickling my neck and told me "i love the snow mommy, not you, you're not my favorite. I can hear him kicking his door now.

My boys tell me to "go away" all the time.



But then, I do... it is part of my job and my life.



When I return, they are the first ones to leap into my arms and tell me how much I was missed.



Kids... heh.
