There's A Girl In My Mirror Crying Tonight,
And Nothing I Can Say Will Make Her Feel Alright.
Her Tears Go Right Through The Aching Skin,
Drops Of All The Emotions Bottled Within.
The Next Morning, She Sees The Deed At Hand,
A Long Hideous Mark She Covers With Two Wristbands.
It Hurts Like Hell To Laugh Without A Care,
Or Smile When There's Distress To Share.
Though The Mistake Is Hers To Remember,
Her Mouth Is Sealed, Because Of December.
That's When She Swore She Would Never Again,
Yet She Crumbled Right To The Bitter End.
So She Lies With The Best Intentions,
Friends Won't Know, She Wont Mention.
It's Hard To Keep, But Who Knows When,
Her Secret Will Remain Until Then.
There's Pain Eating Away Everything Inside,
An Emptiness She Can't Explain If She Tried.
She's Just Waiting For Her Heart To Revive,
Right Now It's Pretty Clear She's Hardly Alive.
I reach out my hand,
but you shove it right back,
for all that you want,
is that which you lack,
Someone who cares,
who knows you best,
Who loves you more,
than all the rest,
but your heart is cold,
and dead with pain,
from all the loves,
that ended in vain,
rejections sting,
is your closest friend,
you fear being alone,
untill your life is to end,
tears of pain,
fly from your face,
you see yourself,
as a total disgrace,
you decide its time,
for your life to end,
for all you want,
is a dear dear friend,
but no one cares,
least it doesnt show,
its time to leave,
not sure where you'll go,
to heaven or hell,
for better or worse,
with a trail of tears,
you'll enter your herse,
a knife to sting,
like rejections grip,
a sturdy blade,
with a sharpened tip,
you line it up,
steady your hand,
piece you're heart,
and leave this land.
