I am the proud mother of a newborn baby girl or boy. I really can't tell. It looks like a boy but it could be a girl. It's only 3 weeks old.

What are your thoughts with whats happening to the world today. The Corona virus has effected everyone and it won't end anytime soon.
I know it's best to stay positive but sometimes that's not even an option. It seems to be getting worse everyday. I watch the news every chance I get hoping that it'll be good news but it hasn't happened. Just a tiny bit of hope would go a long way these days.
I know it will get better. But what will we have lost before that happens? Millions of people. It's so heartbreaking. But it will get better. We just need to survive to see it happen.

The problem with the news is negative news sells. Our lizard brain is wired for flight or fight. Negativity leads to stress leads to anxiety leads to disease. Best thing is to do a media blackout to break the chain. I am sure someone will let you know when the world is ending. Lol. There is so much more to do without constantly watching the boob tube lol.

The new normal for most of us seems to be waking up every morning and Thanking God for another day. And to just let us get through the day without getting sick.
You start thinking of the things you want to do and thought you had so much time left. Like Jumping out of a plane or climbing a mountain. But sadly we all have received the gift of borrowed time. (I say borrowed time because thats what it feels like)
I check myself and my family for fever everyday. I'm trying to get my hands on masks but there's none left. So I will make some. A little protection is better then no protection. Because we still have to venture out from our self imposed shelters right? Maybe what I'm saying is making a little sense. I'm just tired of being scared and this is just the beginning. God Help Us All.

Wear a bandana will keep droplets out or make your own washable cloth mask.

It's really hard not being afraid right now. And I really don't think things will ever be the same again. At least there's no Zombies ...Yet. :)

Stay home and stay safe if you can. Don't risk getting sick.
