I came here mainly to network. I am a writer, my trade, my skill, and my career are one, and the same. Some of you will like my work, some of you will love it, and some of you will hate it and call me the hack that I am.



I can accept all of those things.



I also recognize that this site has its merits, and demerits for what it's worth, and its rules. I know that it is a site for vampires, about vampires, to, and from such fascinating creatures. I know a little bit about vampirism too, but certainly not enough to add to the likely well versed, and well archived information here.



Nothing that you don't already know.



I like the rating system here, and I enjoy that you have to earn your way up in the system here. I think some of the rules are bullshit, but when you're in someone else's house, you abide their laws. Cest la'vie.



Whatever.



I will vote for you, honestly, and openly. If you REALLY impress me, I will give you a ten, and a personalized message. If your page is okay, likely you'll get a fair score, but no message, and if your page is terrible, I won't rate it, because I believe that downrating people is terrible for a person's drive to better their page on this site.



For those of you who cannot handle a little constructive criticism. Grow the fuck up. "If you don't like something, keep it to yourself" was the last message I got. I haven't tried to delete it, and don't even know if I can. I think it's funny, and juvenile that while attempting to advise someone, they take such a childish defensive stance.



Pity.



So. I will abide the rules here, network, and promote my work. I will judge you, every last one of you, and give the scores appropriately so. I do not expect to be treated specially, and if my score drops to a one, or less, because of my position, that's fine. I'm not here for your points, or your acception. I am here for your entertainment, and your entertainment alone (see, this includes then, networking).



I thank you for taking the time to read through this, and apologize for having wasted your time. There are too many sycophantic types here, kissing ass for a better score. I won't, and I don't expect you to.

Okay. In an attempted PR Campaign, here is the deal.



I have readers, and fans, but I need more. MUCH more.
