Blending with the shadows,
I lurk in darkness,
Awaiting the moment I will catch you alone,
Make you the king of your rightful throne.
I’m close enough to touch,
Yet for you I don’t reach,
Biding my time until your mine,
My possession to cherish and keep.
I watch you as you walk,
Surrounded by darkness you can’t see,
Your time is so close,
Death pulls you closer to its dark sea.
I know at this time you will never accept,
The offering I have for you,
A gift you already possess,
Yet from you it has been kept.
You’ve a new path ahead of you that only we know,
Selected among billions,
That’s why you share different ideas,
And always feel alone.
When you’re in deaths grasps you’ll become one of us,
The nightwalkers of the earth,
The unknown and the unjust.

Dark Desires
The craving seems to overpower every function inside,
Every though reverts back to that intoxicating moment,
Fangs sink deep whilst the liquid flows out,
Causing my humanity to slip from my grasps as I lose control,
It seems I am simply along for the ride.
As the pulse starts to slow I force myself to pull away,
Peering into the eyes of my victim as they close,
She falls into a deep sleep where I am no longer a threat to her,
A simple dream and nothing else,
This young lady will live to see another day.
Laying her gently on her bed of silk,
Gently I kiss her lips at the corner,
Bidding her goodnight and promising my return,
I wonder what she has seen in me that I do not see,
I’m merely a vampyre who desires to be free.
