I waited in a dream for you
Had my wings clipped so with you I could exist.
I fell from heights unknown to you and your kind
Though my sacrifice meant nothing to you.
And it seems it never will
I am kept on roads that are unfamiliar to me
Your moral high ground states which way I must go.
But I don’t want to travel to your form of perfection
I liked being me until I was told how to be.
I could fly then.
I have fears and broken dreams of my own
Your addition makes life’s load unbearable
I can’t wear your insecurities for you,
I can’t take away your pain by adding it to mine.
I’m not a clown sent to entertain you.
If the rain falls, it’s my fault
If the sun hides, then I scared it away.
It’s easy to blame me isn’t it?
Point the royal finger like you always do.
How could it ever be your Majesty’s fault?

I sit in the darkness in the corner of my room,
A flicker of candle light heats my soul.
Courage…you all think I’m brave,
Fear…but I’m afraid like you.
You stand behind me, put me in front,
Had to put on a show to make you feel safe.
All the time you’d say you needed me,
But all the time I needed you more.
You say I’m the strong one, the brave one,
But am I?
Do you really know who I am?
I scream in silence so you don’t hear,
My mournful cries of death and fear.
What about me? I fear too!
I’m standing alone yet I stand next to you….

Just a little description of what I see in my little part of this world :)
Rigid snow covered mountains boarder the sky as the sun rises,
Miles of cool blue ocean shape the pathway of the setting sun.
The soft patter of the falling rain gently caresses the green grass.
As morning comes, the dew of the night before hugs the land as the mists rise.
Sunbeams paly among the happy leaves of mighty trees,
While the wind lightly sweeps across the day.
Stars shine brightly against the inky black velvet of the night sky,
While the shy Sister Moon creeps from behind the shelter of the glowing clouds.
Mother Earth sings her sweet lyrics as the birds whistle along in tune,
And flowers slowly open revealing the beautiful secrets within.
Graceful waterfalls rush down and join the gently trickling streams,
All while I sit and ponder in distant daydreams.

Magical thoughts appear,
In a storybook world of time,
Never to disappear,
From the subconscious of our minds.
Living in other worlds,
Much like those in our dreams,
Eternal beds of snow white pearls,
Bathed in magical, clear blue streams.
Whispered words never pass our lips,
For we hear each other in our minds.
Lost in daydreams thoughtfulness,
In a sunlit barrier of time.
Here I wish I could stay,
Unaware of the passing days.
