Spooky trope I cannot stand and I think has been played to death: The ominous droning sound that gets louder and louder as nothing happens as if to make you anticipate a jumpscare or feel "uncomfortable."
I don't feel uncomfortable. I feel concerned for the amount of vibration coming through my speakers.
There are times that this trope is okay, but doing it every time the main character goes to sleep is obnoxious. Basically, in my opinion, if the person in the story isn't reacting to this overpowering droning sound, why do I have to endure it? It adds fuck-all nothing but annoyance for me because I usually turn the volume down and then have to turn it back up when the dialogue continues.
I understand that everyone feels like it will be the next Paranormal Activity if they include the right ingredients but please, pleeeease let this trend die.
I was trying to figure out why Alina Habba was willing to be such an embarrassing asshole over and over again and now I think I understand. She and her husband owe over a million in tax liens. This makes it even more funny when she gets on air and insists that everything Trump did with his taxes and his finances was totally fine and not at all illegal.
Bunch of jackasses...
I have a friend who frequently posts complaints on social media how her friends don't reach out to her and there's too much conflict in this world and "repost this with a photo to show that you're a true friend" so I reached out to her, in private to ask about how settling into her house is going and what else has been up, and she left me on read.
