The Da Vinci Code

I mean it...o-o!
About two weeks ago I went to go see the movie The Da Vinci Code. I've read the book By Dan Brown and I absolutely loved it. For a book turned movie I thought that Ron Howard did an amazing job portraying all the characters on film.
The only things I would say were different from the film, as the movie, are very minimal at best, and I can see why they changed those few things. Like the beggining, Where they had John Langdon at the book signing in France. Originally in the book he was not contacted there by the police, but on the phone by someone else.
Another thing I would have to say was changed a bit was the ending of course, In the book the brother hadn't died in the car crash and was the one who had noticed who she was. In the end all those people had not gathered there as well and it was only the Grand-mother and the brother of Sophie. A smaller thing was that Silas's eyes were a bit different then they explained in the book, but barely anyone would even notice such a thing.
I loved the book, as I've said, and I loved the movie. I did not think Tom Hanks could pull off being Robert Landon, but I think he did a pretty good job. I still do not picture Langdon as Tom Hanks but I still his acting for the part was good. I love Audrey Tatou! She is an amazing French actress and perfect for the part of Sophie Neveu. I saw her in the French film " He loves me, he loves me not." and I automatically loved her, It was worth having to read it in English sub-titles.
All and all, I would have to say that my rating for the movie would be an all ten over ten, nine if I were to deduct the changes, which I'm not because there was a good reason why they were changed and I can see why Howard had done it. =D
