This page is a work in progress for those who might be interested in taking and passing the Acolyte test.
1. You must be level 65 before you are eligible to take the test.
2. You can only take the test once every 30 days so be sure you're ready before attempting it.
3. If your pc is acting funny or a thunderstorm is in the area, wait until it's cleared up before trying or you could fail from no fault of your own but you will still have failed and must wait the 30 days.
4. Make sure you actually want to help others with sometimes very simple or silly questions without being a hateful ass. If you don't then do not take it.
5. Be aware that after you pass the test, you must still be approved for the position by Cancer.
6. There's a lot of reading to be done before taking this test and some of it's detailed so a pen and paper to jot down some things you might feel iffy about are good to have at hand.
7. Many of us haven't taken a test in years until choosing to try this acolyte test so refresh your memory on how you are most comfortable taking it. Are you more quick thinking in the morning, afternoon or evening? If one of these is your best time try to wait and take the test then.
8. You will need to read (more than once) the VR Manual, The TOS (terms of service) the Premium Member FAQ, the society FAQ, and especially understand and study the Status system since the new levels will have changed much of what you knew already.
