WHAT ABOUT SANGUINARIAN VAMPYRES?
Well.. A Sanguinarian feeds strictly from blood as they feel they have no other option. My opinion?? These are Vampyres who never truly finished their Awakening. In my opinion, EVERY Vampyre has the God-given ability to manipulate energy. They feed from the prana that is in the blood. Blood is actually the most SIGNIFICANT source of prana, however, there are several very dangerous risks to this behavior. So, if you don't have a donor that you KNOW, that you have NOT just met on the internet, you must learn to feed. This is the ONLY way you can successfully keep yourself straight.
This is not to say that those who associate themselves with being a Sanguinarian are wrong. This piece is to alert those Sangs in EARLY Awakening to the dangers and risks involved and how IMPORTANT it is to learn how to feed BOTH ways because a donor is not always going to be a guarantee. There are some Sanguinarians who will feed from animal blood as well. Please read the article about Sanguinarian Feeding Techniques to learn how to get blood from a steak, etc.
A lot of Sangs in early Awakening tell me that they actually feed from their own blood. In MY opinion, this is a HUGE no-no. If you are in your car, driving down the highway and you run out of gas, you would have to walk to the nearest gas station, OR wait for a cop to come to give you a ride so you can grab gas. Then you would come back to the vehicle and fill her up because she can't move without that gas, right???
Same thing with us Vampyres. If we run out of gas we can't just get the gas out of our own gas tank because the tank is on Empty! Right? Therefore, the prana has to come from somewhere else. Will doing so help tide you over and help with the craving? You might think so, but no, not really. It's a mental thing. You're believing it will work, therefore you get a false sense of being fed, but won't really feel what it's really like until you can learn to feed correctly and successfully via Psionic Methods OR get a donor.
