I was chosen at the mere age of seven among a long row of girls. Taken from my parents and told I would be the new vestal virgin. As such I would be taught and protected,or I was suppose to be. I grew and learned, watched and sought knowledge. I grew both in grace and beauty. I was called forth to prepare sacrifices, foods and many would seek my advice though the most important thing I had to do was keep the sacred fire lit. For if it went out I would be judged and judged harshly. If the fire went out it would be considered that I had done one of the two, either I was no longer virginal or I had not full filled my duties. As such a tomb would be prepared for me underground. I would have a simple table with a small amount of food and then I would be left there. The tomb would be closed and the last thing I would hear would be the dirt that was shoveled on top of my tomb. I'd be left there to die alone and in shame.

In my time I blessed couples to conceive, I prepared rituals, marriages, births and the sacrifice of animals,I assisted those in power. My words became fact, my rituals truth and my body innocent of all wrong doing. Such was my life and I was happy with it. But it didn't last.

I was captured by a coven and I thought that they were dark witches or

sorcerers. They were vile creatures and worshiped the dark arts. They dressed in black and their faces were covered in masks. One had lured me there with begging and honeyed words. As trusting and innocent as I was I took them at their word. Once in this coven who practiced dark arts I was prepared for sacrifice. I had practiced in the same way, but not on humans. My voice it seemed they could not hear. I begged, I prayed, I pleaded. It was all for naught. I was laid upon a alter while they chanted all around me and then a dagger pierced my heart. I didn't suffer long before death claimed me. At least there was that.

It was then the sacred fire went out.

From the moment of her rebirth her parents knew something was different about their little girl. They just thought she was special. It wasn't until the age of seven that she began to do and say things that they thought were really strange. Like the time one of her teachers called home and asked them how did they know she was having an affair with a married man. Nor the time she told her mother not to go to work, that there would be a massive pile up. There were many other instances and as she grew this curse grew stronger.

At the age of twelve her mother took her to an orphanage and left her there. She was placed with some catholic nuns at an all girl school. There Freya did not only learn how to read and write and such but she learned to keep her thoughts to herself. She was an intelligent girl and she seemed to fit in, or tried to, but she didn't not really. What she did learn was not to tell people her thoughts. None of them believed her anyhow and those that were made believers shunned her as if she had the plague. She had deeply rooted trust issues due to her parents abandoning her at such an early age.

She finally graduated from high school and at the age of seventeen set out on her own.. There weren't many places that would hire a girl that hadn't gone to college. While searching for a job she came upon a magic shop with a sign in the window. The lady there hired her on the spot. As she helped patrons find this and that she soaked the knowledge up like a sponge. It seemed natural to her. Soon she became the shops fortune teller. So she could give warnings and help to those that wouldn't think it strange.

Then the dreams started. She thought she was losing her mind. It was the same face, the same body, same hair color and so on. It was her! She just dressed differently than she did back then. She finally put two and two together and accepted her lot in life. She had been reborn into a century that was no longer hers. No wonder that she had never really been interested in a boy friend before. She died a virgin and to this day was still one. It wasn't that she wasn't attracted to men, she was. She didn't feel like she could form a relationship with any of them. She had to much to hide. There were satan worshippers and covens in this day and age as well.

Though as a few years pass without a relationship she started to get lonely. This day and age you could learn just about anything by just watching tv. She knew that she preferred men that were really men. The dominant men seemed so much like the ones in her age. They were the dominant race and females were...theirs. In her minds way of thinking anyhow.
