I am a woman of many fascinations.
One of my all time greatest loves is art. I have an immense appreciation for the aesthetics of the world and the imagination. Drawing the human form has been a fascination of mine for a while now and portraiture has become one of my favorite pastimes. Someday I would love to make a career of it, but for now I'm in college pursuing a Masters in psychology.
My philosophies could be described as being Universalist. It is my firm belief that everything we are made of (including our souls) is merely a part of the greater whole. Even as we die, our bodies go back into the earth and create new life. What was once us is not destroyed, but becomes something new. I adore all things spiritual, but despise religion. I believe that the spiritual realm is a part of nature and that nature should be embraced rather than rejected. The basic principles of life, such as that of action and consequence, are the rules of nature and are much more practical than man-made dos and don'ts.
That being said, I'm always in the mood for a good, intelligent conversation. I love meeting new people and sharing new thoughts and ideas, so feel free to send me a message anytime.

I do not believe in any one particular faith or ideology, but each of these has had a profound impact on my life in some shape or form. I have collected valuable lessons from each and carry them with in my search for spiritual peace.
I have often wondered how we come to romanticize the demon inside. Whether by our daily self-perceptions or egotistic thirst for vanity, we aesthetize the evils we cannot conquer. The uphill, striding battle-march to righteousness begs for a goodness, a knowledge that we cannot see and shall never find. Instead, we bond with the gore of our souls and make it likeable, because the instinct within us knows that it is all we have. To discover pure light is to destroy the shadows that make us who we are; and likewise pure darkness consumes them in its quest for dominion. Therefore I embrace both light and shadow within knowing it is the only way to exist apart from God and the Devil.
