I am Lord Aro, ruler of the House of Ermius and a Carpathian. I was born in Targoviste, Romania, into the Cardei family. I am a Sanguine vampire, gothic in image, dark of nature and soul.
I enjoy the stillness of the gentle songs of love and the flamboyant harshness of Rock.
I favour the film 'The Crow' as it reflects my true nature.

I read voraciously, with passion and interest, enjoying the words of poets and authors alike.
I live within the realms of passion and intrigue, through my gothic nature, love of blood, sexual appetite, desire for the excitement of bondage and a lover's teeth. I walk the cemeteries, lakes, and parks in the shadows of the darkness, isolated in my lonely vigil.
I favor open-mindedness and honesty over a desire to simply please with vacant and mundane words. I despise the sunlight, the nature of the masses as they revel in their 'normality'; the flight and fancy of the 'wannabes'; the judgement of the media in it's bigotry and homophobia. I have no time for these insincere whelps.

I am the darkness. I walk this earth to help free the oppressed and challenge the mockery of system and authority.
I am faithful and loyal to those I love and who love me.
I yearn to stamp out hatred and prejudice, to give freedom to those who walk in the darkness.
Deny me freedom? Challenge me? At your peril. I am Lord Aro and I thrive on adversity; I throw down the gauntlet to those who would try.

Blood trickles out like a crimson tide, from wounds made with pleasure sighed, darkness keeps secrets bound, and hidden truths, at last, are found, the mysteries of love are forged and at that table, I am gorged, the love we share is deeper than ever and so we fly on wings of a feather.
