So why Rumpelstiltskin as my avatar? Well he is by far the most interesting character on Once Upon a Time. The spin and twisted variations on the myths make for entertaining viewing. I loved the merger of Rumpel and The Beast (from Beauty and the Beast) as one entity. Within each of us is the potential for good, evil and the silver shades of grey in-between. The premise of Rumpel becoming the Dark One is a fascinating concept. He chooses to be a Demonic being - The Fairy tale version of the Devil himself.
