So they tell me that i am an Angel. Beauty that has fallen from the heavens. One that is lost and struggling to find out what my place here may be.

I think they are Misguided.

Misguided Angel
resting among the stars
gently caressing
the passionate flame.
No one to fly
and coax her down to
the chaotic streets
of hell on Earth.
A wing of black
and one of white
the darkness shall
make amends.
A large heart
so empty inside
with a smile
She still pretends.
Misjudged angel
wandering so far from me
slowly floating farther
from where you're meant to be.
I drop my halo
and reach for you
an action I'm
fearful to do.
A smile of sorrow
and eyes of secrets
my light shall
flow to you.
A beautiful heart
maybe I'll fit inside
and my love I'll
give when due.
Your words intrigue
your heart so sweet
don't say you don't believe
just close your eyes
and gently breathe.
My angel, place your trust in me.

To know me will take you a lifetime due to i don't even know myself. Secrets and thoughts fill my head and cloud my judgement as well as blur my vision. Is this me? The real me? Or is this Misguided Angel?

The darkness consumes my very spirit. As I tumble down I reach out for safety.

As with love, safety has long ago abandoned me. I call out, my words are silenced. ...

Regret runs scarlet through my weak veins.

My soul cries out as the flames violently singe my flesh.

Laughing at my pain, the angels reject my pleas.

The light fades, and God is sorry for the part he has played in my demise.
