When I was young I had grand ideas of what my life would become as with many childhood dreams things did not work out.
Oh how different things could have been

Along the way I have made many mistakes
Some I learned from some I did not, whether out of stubbornness of foolhardiness.
Oh how different things could have been.

I have done many things I regret; there are things I would change if I could.
But the past is the past and can't be redone.
Oh how different things could have been.

All I can do is look to the future.
Now my thoughts are not for myself.
May I please make the right choices for my children.
No matter what happens may I make their lives better and happier.
My greatest achievement will be the happiness and success of them.
