First a little about me...

I am a the proud mother of a 21 year old woman...LOL Trust me...that is the nicest thing I can say about her right now.

My profession is education. Ty calls me an Educator. I like that...it makes a statement. Physical Science and US History, 8th grade. My school is awesome...every day is an experience.

Being a teacher is what defines me as a person. Being a mother makes me who I am. Being me is often hard to do. But, I persevere and find time to just...be.

In making my profiles, I try to do something different all the time. This profile is dedicated to my best friend. Titan Goddess…you may no longer be beside me…But, I love you Man. Get home as soon as possible!

Titan and I share a love of the Ocean. When we met on a beautiful island, she taught me to snorkel and love what’s under the sea… We also share a love of the mermaid.

The Mermaid has been part of our history since written time. All that I have read has led me to some conclusions. Don't worry...it's just a short conclusion... Columbus, John Smith, and Henry Hudson all claim to have seen mermaids. Not to mention official Autopsies performed on mermaids in Scotland. But, do we really care about the science? Or, is it the dream that gets us?

No matter who claims to see a mermaid, all agree. She is beautiful. The beauty that lures men to her side. John Smith wrote that he was on the way to falling in love with the woman he saw swimming..then he saw her tail.

Throughout history she has been the Siren on the Rocks, ready to lure a man to his death. With long, flowing hair, she combed it. Was it real? Or was it a hallucination caused by lack of nutritious food, fresh water, and enough sleep?
